Now that Toshiba/HD-DVD is out of the way, all the blu needs to do is to overtake DVD as the standard format. It took 10 years for DVD to take over VHS... but I suspect with the growing popularity of HDTVs, it'll take less time.

And 10 years is MORE than enough time for digital downloading to become a viable option.
