The Exorcist: Believer, Twice the possession, twice the horror

I just don't understand why they had to go and make another one! The original movie was a masterpiece, and now they want to keep milking it with unnecessary sequels. Can't they just leave well enough alone? It's frustrating to see filmmakers trying to cash in on the success of a classic by churning out subpar follow-ups. The first film's impact was so powerful, and I doubt this new one can ever come close to matching it. I'm disappointed and won't waste my time watching this needless attempt to capitalize on past glory.

LOL the demon is now inclusive and now discriminatory, this is the first movie I am going to see a Black Girl gets posssesed.

The first film, with its powerful depiction of the battle between good and evil, had a profound impact on my spiritual journey. It reminded me of the existence of darker forces as well as the value of faith in the face of adversity. Witnessing a young girl's struggle for her soul made me consider the importance of remaining firm in my beliefs and seeking protection from a higher power. It reaffirmed my faith in the divine's goodness and the importance of upholding my religious values. While I don't believe in unnecessary sequels, I will be eternally grateful to the original film for influencing my faith and guiding me on my spiritual path.

Why can't they just let sleeping dogs lie? The original film was a cult classic, and it should have been preserved. This attempt to resurrect the franchise is nothing more than a cynical attempt to cash in on nostalgia. I have no faith in this unnecessary sequel, and I'm confident it will fall short of the first film's brilliance. It's heartbreaking to see a beloved film profited from. I will not support this travesty and will instead celebrate the original, a true horror gem.

I hear you. I'm also disappointed that they're making another sequel to the original movie. The first one was so good, and I don't think it needs a sequel. It's frustrating to see filmmakers trying to cash in on the success of a classic movie.

The exorcist is undoubtedly the epitome of any horror movie. I remember watching it and going speechless. I couldn't sleep for nights or go somewhere alone after the dark. And the movie being based on true events was even more chilling. Also set up in old time, it had an authentic appeal. I have not watched the other movies of the franchise. I am not sure if I still have the guts to watch this one when it releases. I am sure that many would be eagerly waiting for it.

I have never really been a fan of horror movies, not that i have anything against them, i do watch some here and there but I won't say am scared ? but i just don't watch most. Though i am abit curious on how scary this movie might be, so i would definitely give it a try. I also have a friend who would die for a good scary movie hehe.

I'm a big fan of the original theme song, and I'm glad that they're bringing it back for the new movie. It's such a haunting and beautiful melody, and it always gives me chills. I can't wait to hear it in the new movie!
