Though most of Amazon’s current TV content remains restricted to a digital format, you don’t need a Prime subscription to watch their current biggest hit, The Boys (though you have to wait a while if this is your preferred format). The show’s third season will be pressed to physical discs next month.

I reckon Amazon's holding onto The Boys for dear life because it's a massive hit. They've got those spin-offs and all. They'd rather sell it on DVD and Blu-ray than let it roam on other streaming sites. Can't blame 'em for wanting to keep the superhero action in their own backyard.

You know, it was Anthony Starr's performance as Homelander that got me hooked on The Boys. He nailed that character, being intimidating, villainous, and showing vulnerability at times. It's a head-scratcher why he hasn't won an Emmy for it yet. His portrayal is top-notch, and he's the reason I binged all the seasons!

You know, I'm usually a stickler for adaptations sticking 100% to the source material, but The Boys' TV adaptation is a rare exception. It managed to become even better than the comics in some ways. They improved the characters and made it into its own thing, which is impressive. The fact that it's gone on for more seasons than the comics themselves is a testament to that improvement, and I love how they've taken these characters to new heights instead of downgrading them.

Absolutely love how The Boys doesn't hold back when it comes to satire and poking fun at the MCU and DC Comics, both in movies and TV. It's a riot to watch! And let's not forget that gore and violence – it really gets the adrenaline pumping. The shock factor in The Boys is something else. Can't wait for the next season and that spin-off, Generation V. It's gonna be a wild ride!l

I never got into The Boys, to be honest. It's a bit too dark, violent and cynical for my taste when it comes to superhero stuff. But I get why people love it. Blu-Ray's good for those who prefer physical copies, though.

I've read the comics of The Boys and also watched the Amazon adaptation. This is the first time I've seen an adaptation be better than the source material. They made changes, but the changes made it even better. If they had followed the comics, this show would have ended in Season 2. So I'm glad that this show is about to have 4 seasons and has also gained some spin-offs. Most of the time, I'm upset with the changes in adaptations. But The Boys has changes that are much better than the original. But somehow, it still respects the source material

I'm really looking forward to the Generation V spin-off and seeing how The Boys universe expands even further. I agree with the changes they made in the adaptation. In the comics, Maeve met a different fate, but I'm glad she survived in the TV version. And it's a relief that they didn't include the disturbing events from the comics involving Starlight. The Deep was the only one who did something wrong to her in the show.
