Hannover House has announced that it has teamed with Red Bear Entertainment to develop a 3D animated feature called "Terminator 3000," an $70 million movie based on the original "Terminator" film.
Story details are being kept a secret, but the writers and production team have a stated that the goal is to minimize the violence in order to obtain a PG-13 movie. Details will be revealed later this year and production is set to begin in January.
Halcyon Media was the owner of the "Terminator" franchise and went on to develop "Terminator Salvation," the fourth installment. But when sister companies of Halcyon got into financial trouble, "Terminator" rights went on sale. Pacificor ended up purchasing the franchise at a low price and now retains approval over "Terminator 3000."
I had to vomit a few times at the animated and less violence parts.
This isn't looking good.
