Chiba: Hello, everybody. I’m GoseiRed/Arata’s Chiba Yuudai. I don’t have any acting experience, but as a Sentai hero being my first performance, I feel very happy. I will work hard, so please give your support!
Sato: Hello, everybody. I’m GoseiPink/Eri’s Sato Rika. This time, I’ve never had hopes of being able to become a hero, so I’m very happy about it. I wish to fulfill all the children’s dreams, I will work hard and so please give your support!
Hamao: Hello, everybody! I’m GoseiBlack/Aguri’s Hamao Kyosuke! Through this journey, I’m able to become a hero. It’s still a little early, but I’ll learn hard throughout the next one year to become a good hero by not giving up on things I cannot perform. So please give your support!
Niwa: I’m GoseiYellow/Mone’s Niwa Mikiho. Although I’m feeling a little awkward by saying this but, combining the unity of five people, I believe we will be able to make Tensou Sentai Goseiger an incredible series. Please give your support!
Ono: I’m GoseiBlue/Hyde’s Ono Kento. Throughout the next one year from now, well it’s going to be a long broadcasting event. All the children nationwide and all the Sentai fans, I wish to work hard to live up to their expectations. So please give your support!
Q: What were your thoughts when you were chosen to be the new hero?
Chiba: Although the audition was around October, I got into my agency around September, and because the audition was so near, I thought I wouldn’t pass it at all so I was quite surprised. But because I was sent to audition, I decided that I want to pass it, so I was happy to have actually passed it.
Interviewer: How was the people’s reaction around you?
Chiba: Hmmm, my blog was opened on the first day of November, so there were mails from a lot of middle school students and said I was a popular person. So I thought that was nice.
Sato: I also auditioned but when I was waiting for the results, I thought I would definitely lose the audition. I kept asking my manager about the results and he kept saying I might not pass at all, judging by the situation. So I thought I should just give up, but at that time, I actually passed it and was so surprised when I got the call from my agency. So of course when I heard that news, I was so happy and immediately called my mum to inform her.
Hamao: Yeah, I also thought I wouldn’t pass the audition so when the good news came from my manager, I was completely shocked! I was so happy that I almost dropped my phone, but I was, I was happy of course. At that time, I informed my family and after telling my family, my older brother actually cried. We also threw a celebration about it. I also told my school mates about it and they were like “You’re a hero eh!” so I was very happy about it.
Niwa: When I went for the audition, it was right after my 20th birthday. It was really 3 days later, so I took the Sentai audition as my first job RIGHT after my birthday. I was thinking could this be some kind of destiny, so I wished I would definitely pass this audition. So when my manager told me that I passed, my hands were really shaking and I really couldn’t believe it. So I contacted my parents about it and everybody was so happy for me. I actually didn’t have time to contact them because the press conference day was so near when I got the news. So today, I’ve finally become a real hero so, thank you.
Ono: When I was told I passed, I really didn’t believe it. Whatever, whoever tells me about it, I wouldn’t believe it. But as time goes on, I started feeling very nervous about it. What should I do, that kind of feeling was also there. But the people around me, my family, friends, gave me some encouraging words.
Q: It seems the motive this time is “Angel”.
Chiba: That’s right. I don’t really know anything about an angel, but because there’s a lot of high places involved, so maybe it’s like instant… flying around the place.

Hamao: An angel is someone who has a very kind heart.
Q: How was the filming site’s atmosphere?
Sato: When I first saw the explosions on the site, I was so shocked. When I see it on TV, I always thought it was just CGI effects. So when I really see it in front of my eyes, that kind of HUGE explosion, I was shocked and when we five started filming, the henshin scene has just been filmed but, at that time, I imagined myself becoming a hero for real.
Niwa: When I entered the filming site, the first think that came to mind was the staff members’ involvement and hospitality was REALLY amazing, that’s a really thankful thing to me. In that kind of cold location, they make our lunches, so it feels like we’ve being rescued by them and it was really delicious. It’s like the filming site is even a delicious eating place.
*NOTE: I felt that kind of response from her was funny. She was stressing about the food. Maybe she was feeling hungry during the interview*
Ono: I’ve a lot of first time experiences and also, the filming site is a place where there are a lot of challenging things. I’m working hard and at the same time, trying not to overdo myself.
Q: What was your first impression of Yamada Rui, who is portraying Professor Amachi?
Chiba: I’ve never done any filming before but, he has a good voice and figurative speech. Because he’s really a kind hearted person, so I think he’s really an amazing person.
Interviewer: How was his acting?
Chiba: His acting is amazing! His eyes were like… very expressive and because of that, I’ve learnt a lot from him.
Niwa: I’ve also never done this kind of thing before so, being on the filming site is a really great feeling. We still haven’t done some acting together, but I know we’ll be having a lot of fun from now on, I hope I can do it with a laugh with everyone but not releasing too much energy. So I’ll try to be careful.
Interviewer: Is he a swell person?
Niwa: Yes, he’s a really kind person when he speaks, so I really thought he’s really considered the mood maker among us.
Ono: When we started filming, Professor Amachi’s aura was like amazing when he came out. When I saw that, I thought it was awesome and so I’ve learnt a lot from him.
Q: When was the #1 moment you felt “pure”?
Sato: When I watch the suit actors performing all the action, I felt like I’ve returned to my childhood days. I felt so excited and I thought it was awesome and that was the time, I felt I became pure.
Interviewer: I think whatever Chiba did was considered pure, but what was your first impression of Chiba?
Sato: When I first met him, I thought he was really cute and had a really angelic face.
Hamao: I really love Super Sentai series, even since I was a kid. I always never miss an episode every Sunday morning. I think watching Super Hero Time is the moment I feel pure.
Q: Tell us your feelings of being the new Red Hero!
Chiba: Obviously what I’m performing right now is different from the Red in Shinkenger. A really optimistic, gentle, a “My Pace” and kind hearted Red. That’s why, I want to show something different and have fun doing it. Also acting with an energetic smile.[/HIDE]
