Not really. In Sweden it's Swedish and in Switzerland it's German/French.
I mentioned it because his 'R' indeed sounds more European than Japanese.

While that is true, He had an AMERICAN english accent.

Notice his " St- er- ahng-ger "
NOT the "St-er ohng gah" (which is more euro accented)
I practice accents for fun, and the british accent has a more oh sound to strong rather than the americanized ah, sound.

.....What the hell's a tizzy? I sometimes wonder where we get our words from..... Anyways, your post concerned mine, and "a" and "the" aren't the same at all.
