It's been my dream to work in Television Production as a Writer/Producer. Do you guys have any helpful advice you'd like to send my way?

I actually want to do the samething. My advice would be to not give up even if some of your ideas are turned down by some people continue to pitch them out and whatnot.

Make sure it's something that you REALLY want to do. Don't just say that, and be like 'no, I don't want to do this anymore'.

Read (but not too much)
write a lot (ideas, scripts, whatever)

Internships

Kissing ass of the people above you while not being to obvious except to the person whose ass is kissed.

Know when to lie and always have backup lies to cover your ass.

Also don't be afraid to start in the toilet. But be afraid if you don't work your ass off you might not get out.
