Okay, I'm pretty far into this game and I can honestly say, I can't remember enjoying an RPG more than this one. Aside from a minor issue here and there, the game is so full of depth and personality. Everything seems to hit all the right notes. And I have to give special notice to the voice actors, particularly Troy Baker (Yuri Lowell), D.C. Douglas (Alexei) and Jamieson Price (Duke).

Anyone else besides unmei and myself played this yet?

Played it, beaten it.

Game felt a bit easy to me IMO but definitely an enjoyable game. My party usually consisted of: Yuri, Estele, Rita, and my last slot was switchable with whomever I felt like...usually Judith.


I'm holding out for the PS3 version before I make my 2nd play through

I almost cried at that scene, but got over it quickly, because I remember how much of a bitch that boss was.

I'm trying to get a new 360 (hence job hunting) so I can beat the game. This game ranks number two in my "Top 5 Tales of Series List", number one being Tales of the Abyss (PS2) for it's story and humor (also because I beat it =D), number three being Tales of Symphonia (Nintendo Gamecube) because it's my first Tales game, but not as good as I thought everyone said it was, number four being Tales of Phantasia (GameBoy Advance remake), because...it was a good story, but sort of difficult to play compared to the other three games I've mentioned, and lastly, Tales of Symphonia 2: Ratatosk Knights (Wii, Dawn of the New World in English) because of its story, being a sequel to Symphonia, but..........it sucked.

The worst Tales of game I've EVER played was Tales of Legendia for the PS2. Never....fucking.....again.

I've played through this game soooooo many times. Not quite 1000/1000 yet, but it's been the only RPG of any time on a next gen console that I have willing to replay.

He's playable for like, one part of the game on the 360 version. The PS3 has him, and a new character.


The game sure knows how to tease you though, I kept trying to predict when Flynn joins your team...but he never does.:shakefist

So far, if I remember correctly, this has to be the BEST part of the game. Yuri Lowell (I keep thinking Yuri Lowenthal! lol) is the absolute best hero in the "Tales of Series".
