Takoyaki.... Good or Bad?

Meaning I bought some... stockpiled it even on my ride back from Chicago this weekend.

Buuuuut... I left it out on my kitchen counter last night.

Is it too late for my food or having put it in the refridgerator this morning... will that be enough to save it?

I mean, how fast can it have gone bad?

If you're not sure about it, might as well throw it away. I would rather buy a fresh bunch than get hospitalized.

Better be safe than sorry.

But eitherway....

Takoyaki + Japanese mayonnaise = Good

Man I don't even know if the takoyaki I ate one time was real or not. It didn't seem as if the thing was properly cooked...the dough resembled curdling cheese somewhat and it was drowned in mayo. But it was my first time too so I took it for granted that it was. y'know, the real thing. Hmm.

A friend proposed a solution... eat one. Wait 12 hours and see how I feel.

If I'm good, it's good... If I experience even a little quease.. chuck it.

^ Sounds like a plan. Try one and stash the rest in the fridge.

Oh, it also probably depends on if they were drowned in mayo and stuff during the time when you left them out. If they had mayo on them, I'd say chuck it because mayo spoils really easily. If they had some other sauce but no mayo they should be good. Also, if the takoyaki were "naked", so to speak, they should be good.
