Super Smash Bros Brawl - Discussion

I just unlocked Sonic, which brings my roster to 28 characters. 29 if you count Sheik & Zelda as seperate characters.

Wow...the IGN review was the least enthusiastic sounding review ever. Those guys just spoke in monotone the whole time!

Thru subspace or VS matches?

Has anybody who has the game know how to use the wiimote wit the nunchuk? I'm gonna be in a Brawl tournament this saturday and it would be great if I know the controls! Please Anyone!!!

If I were you, I'd get the Gamecube controller, that's gonna be the easiest way to play. Also, play some Melee to brush up on your skills.

Only way you can get Sonic subspace wise is by playing through subspace towards the end, Sonic has exactly 1 cutscene, and all he does is make a big blue X and do his Sonic Adventure pose.

I've played with the Wiimote and nunchuk alot, its pretty much impossible to play well using only the Wiimote. Playing with the Wii-Chuk is pretty good for you actually if you are one of those "I RELY ON THE C-STICK" people. It gets you used to not using the C-Stick for smash moves, but you can't foxtrot using the Wiimote

Foxtrotting is essentially like dash dancing, you tap dash move periodically so you can pretty much use smash moves with the speed of a dash instead of a dash A attack.

Maybe in the Japanese version, but I just unlocked Sonic by doing the classic mode.

Yeah JP Version with Sonic was weird, I was playing a random Melee game and all of a sudden "NEW CHALLENGER: SONIC" came up, waaaaay before I unlock him by Vs. Games.

No one is going to the ones here in Vegas, Vegas Smash pretty much OWNS all of the major/store smash tournaments here, and Vegas Smash only has tournaments at Play 'n Trade and GameCrazy (store wise that is) and they have one practically every monday.
