yeah that happens in every game for me. I get everything I want and then I have no more motivation to play. Smash is still fun to play thanks to WiFi though. But to be honest, I played the crap out of SSBM so much that Brawl loses it's "oomph" quickly because it's just more of the same and wears down quicker.
Thats why you're not gosu
If you want stuff to do in brawl, learn all the pro techniques like the ones in Melee  Try Hyphen Smashing (All characters can do it, its beastly with Snake), Foxtrotting, Ike's Super Armor, Falco's Infinite Laser Lock, Fox's Float. Did you find your character? Did you find your spikes, meteor smashs, or sex dives? Do you know your fighting style? (air game, ground game, traps, pure spikes, etc.)
A little dictionary of the stuff I said, some of it is pretty basic:
Hyphen Smashing: Pretty much a foxtrot into a smash move, in other words Dash cancel into a smash move so you can smash move while dashing.
Foxtrotting: Its like Dash dancing in Melee but in one direction so you can easily dash cancel
Super Armor: At the start of Ike's ^ B and when Ike smashes his sword down with his normal B, he is invincible to being knocked back, he still takes percent damage though.
Laser Lock: Falco's infinite combo, when someone's body hits the ground and bounces up fire and hold down the laser, the other person will not be able to move until Falco stops or he goes off the edge. Now one might think a combo like this will be banned right? like Lex Luthor said, WRONG. The odds of getting to this combo are very slim and theres hardly anyone stupid enough to let this happen to them, most people would catch themselves when they fall.
Float: Keep using Fox's V B while falling down, he falls very very slowly
Spike: Attack that sends the reciever flying straight in one direction
Meteor Smash: Attack that has purple electricity, sends the reciever flying, almost guarantees a kill. Examples are Zelda's back air and Captain Falcon's famous Knee which was brutal in Melee if short hopped.
Sex Dives: Non smash, spike, or heavy damage air move, neutral air.
