I dunno about you Keith but im enjoying the random battles in this one and all of the awesome and explosives ways I can finish off enemies. Its all about timing ad heaping helpings of awesome

I'm not sure I understand the fight mechanics... like... I just hit A, right?

And does it care how much I tap A and when?

I'd wait until the attack finishes before you tap A again.

The real fun comes when you've only got one enemy left and you're able to switch your entire team into one combo.

And how do you do that?

it'll come up when you get reiji and xiaomu. then, you'll have support attack from whichever character you stick in the background. it cost like 5 sp, but you'll be good. just hit the left button when you get to that point.

also, when using attacks, you'll know when to hit stuff by checking the blue COM bar at the bottom, using items and attacks during battle uses up com... so be sure to stock up on COM replenshing items, like joss sticks when you get to kaguya amahara....

I just left the first world, landed in a Japanese one, fought some ninjas and am on my way to the temple to find the princess.

Currently clocked in at the 5 and half hour mark. :sweat:

Leveling up is srs buisness.

Totally. It's a good thing work is fairly boring lately, so I had the 2 hours to spare grinding and leveling up to be able to handle fights well enough. I want to stay leveled waaaay ahead of the curve, otherwise I was finding the constant random battles to be a bit of a pain.

Otherwise, loving all the character designs and overall aesthetics. LOVE how unashamed they are about all the womanizing too. :anime:
