Super Rescue Squadron: Calamity Zero (RPG Thread)

Moroha looked at the downed warriors then looked away. "None of you know how to take a hit!" He shouted disappointed by the fact that the newest group of SRS warriors were so weak. "I miss the old days back then only one man was able to stop me Daisuke Hotsume and now look at what the best of the best send me!" He said and started to walk away then he looked at one of the creatures. "Destroy them if you want I'll go and get what I came for." He told the creature then walked away.

Kai had been able to hit one of the "Shriekers" in the arm, but it still kept the fight going, even with the use of only one arm. Being forced to hide again, Kai wondered if Yuki would ever respond. I was hoping for too much. With all this interference, they can't get- A very familiar voice was then heard on Kai's comm as the static lifted. “Roger that Sir commencing” Within a few seconds of Yuki's response, a few small controlled explosions rocked the room, taking 2 out of the 3 "Shriekers" out as they were finally silenced. The only remaining "Shrieker", the one with use of only one of it's arms, had been hurt by the explosions, but not killed. Kai came out from his cover and surveyed the carnage that he called for. "Whoa...thanks for the save, Yuki-chan! I owe you one after this-" The remaining "Shrieker" suddenly burst from it's hiding spot, lunging toward Kai. Not expecting this, he was knocked and pinned to the ground by the creature, which started to slash at his armor with it's only good arm.

It was a bad idea for it to get close, however. A small hum could be heard as Kai's armored fist crackled with electricity. This was his Stun Knuckle in action. "Take this!" Punching the thing across it's fanged face, an electrical charge was sent through the creature's body, causing it's battered body to finally give up and collapse on top of the SRS officer. This is not what I had in mind... Throwing it's lifeless body off of him, Kai noticed some gash marks on his armor, but had to worry about other things. I gotta see what's in that main room... Getting up, he saw the air duct system in the ceiling that the creatures used to get to him. "Sorry for that interruption, Yuki-chan. I'm going to enter the air ducts to see what's going on in that main office. How are things on your end?" Kai finished as he stared to move the desks in a way so he could reach the air ducts, not knowing what was transpiring outside and the danger Tomoyo and the others were in...

Suddenly, another noise filled the room, the loose debris shaking wildly. This noise was a low growling sound, a fowl stentch filling the air. Out from the shadows came a bipedal creature, it's fangs and claws glistening in the fragile light above. The Scavenger smashed through the desks like tissue paper as it lept into the air, extending it's claws at the blue officer...

The Roughneck gave a low snarl, giving a hand signal to the other hybrids to continue the onslaught.

Crimson raised himself from the floor, checking the blast wound on his arm. The armor was cracked and charred, some scaly flesh exposed. Not good. Those are armor piercing rounds. If they get a shot off that hits a vital spot... Reaper looked to his sides for his Tri-Cannon before spotting on his left side and grabbing it. Crimson pointed to the nearest target and took aim... but didn't fire. The sight of a creature just like Kiba, the feeling that he had... siblings. "I-I can't do it."

Ryu looked at Kiba and then realized the truth. Moroha was using Kiba's family to attack this building and now Kiba couldn't even lift a finger to harm them. "Crimson! Get down!" Gold Beet shouted as he took out his Kabuto Rifle and fired shots at the Roughneck squad aiming only for they legs and arms to stop them from doing a counter attack. After he was done Ryu got up and placed a hand on Kiba's shoulder. "You okay man?"

Oh, this just keeps getting worse and worse! His fist still having some charge left from his previous attack, Kai rolled to the side to dodge the creature's leap and then quickly delivered a charged punch to the creature's head. It did some damage to the Scavenger, but it wasn't enough as it swiped it's clawed hand towards the blue officer, knocking him away into a desk. The creature shook it's head, disoriented from the attack as Kai got up. Okay, this one's a little tougher. I'll just call...no. I can't rely on Yuki-chan for everything. I'll take care of everything else. Noticing one of the Shriekers weapons beside him, Kai picked it up and began to dual wield it, along with his Beta Shot. Firing both weapons at the Scavenger, the blasts riddled the creature's body, but it had enough strength to leap at Kai, tackling him and sending the two of them through the barricaded door into the main office. This caught the four Roughnecks standing watch over the hostages attention, as they were wondering where their earlier Shrieker force went.

Kai was pinned under the Scavenger's dead body as one of the Roughneck's went up the downed Blue Officer. Bringing it's rifle to Kai's head, the Roughneck snarled as the weapon charged. Crap...Is this it? His thoughts raced, finally settling on one person in particular. "Damn it, No!" Lifting the Scavenger's body as a shield, he threw it into the Roughneck's shot, causing it to waste it's opportunity as it was then gutted by Kai's Beta Shot in sword mode. The other three Roughnecks saw this and started to charge their weapons towards the hostages, knowing full well that they had leverage at this point. Bunch of damn cowards! What do I do now?!
