Super-1=Soooo underrated

I've seen a few eps on Veoh and loved what I saw.

Gackt wasn't the first singer to be a Kamen Rider. Shunsuke Takasugi became a singer sometime after his Rider career and was a star talent in high school.

Personally I love the martial arts motif. But I heard the villains look ridiculous later on.

I recently started watching it too. I'm loving it. I heard the second half was less than stellar though. Someone needs to refresh my memory on why.

I started watching the "underrated" Riders too. Skyrider is a fucking boss! RIDER BREAK! I saw #4 and Tsukuba Hiroshi is not a man you want to piss off! Episode #3 of Super-1 was crazy, tossing those stones like bullets! Amazon is different, but I like it.

Skyrider is a fucking boss!

Amen! The guy took 7 Rider kicks! That screams badass to me!

As for Super-1. yeah, they screwed up in the second half of the show, but it was still a fun ride. I just wish that they could have focused more on the astronaut theme though.
Super-1 is the only "real" Space Rider we have. I would have liked to see him explore other planets etc.
It just seemed like a waste of a potential storyline, but oh well...

The gloves were very creative for that time, and it was very diffrent than our usual Showa Rider arsenal. This is one thing I absolutely loved about the Showa series. When they decided to make something diffrent for a Rider, they REALLY made it diffrent. In terms of weapons, they never failed to impress me. The gloves reminded me of X's riddol. They could be used for diffrent kinds of combat.

I just get sad when I watch Super-1, because it reminds me how much we lack martial arts in Kamen Rider these days... :(

Yes, incredibly underrated, and I've never understood why, Super-1 has a kick-ass style that I've always loved. It's different from the previous ones, not only for the awesome hands he has, but also for the martial arts Oki often practiced.
Telamacro is a good villain too, he make look lazy and stupid at times, but when you see HIS episode, you'll see his true potential.
The second half with Jin Dogma really has some weird looking kaijin (that umbrella and poison spray kaijin were just... wtf), but that shouldn't be the reason not to take the series seriously... although I must admit most of them were funny.

Overall, it's totally worth watching, sure it's not your usual Agito, Black, or V3, but the series have a good story, Kazuya has to do all by himself since no previous riders return (only the movie).

I like his design too, it looks a little simplistic at first, but looking more at it, you can see it's kinda like an electronic rider, it's good to see the original intention was for it to be a space rider, too bad they couldn't have a fight in space.
And those silver hands... are just lovely, he and Riderman would make a great pair.

I especially liked the music in the show but yeah it was a really good show despite how the Junior Rider Tai had to be saved more than helped Super-1.

The movie was really badass too.
