Sucky things that happened to you today

My day at School was so shitty. First off this fucker with long blond hair and percings on every side of his face was making fun of my friend Steve. I just wanted to Rider Kick him in the nads but I didn't. Also I had to go to Vo-Tech which is hell for me. But my last 2 classes were the **** because all my friends are in those classes but all in all my day was ****.:shakefist

So, class really ends at 1:30, but my teacher had things to give to us, for our co-op placements and I ended up having to stay until 2: 20 ish. Now, keep in mind I do live about a two hours away from my college...

I know it was two days before, but something happened on Sunday too.

So, we were gonna go downtown cause my mom needed to see the doctor down there. We were gonna go to this mall(Yorkdale, for those of you who live in canada) but the trains were down, one stop away from where we needed to get off. So instead we decided to go to another mall(Eatons Center). When I get to there EB, I was gonna buy Supreme Commander, but the store didn't have any more in stock:shakefist

So, we go home and the trains are down AGAIN three stops away from where we needed to get off, and we ended up having to take a shuttle bus which wasn't a problem...but I ended up having to stand on my already aching feet.

I moved in to dorms and it's the BIGGEST mistake ever, I hate it so much, I hate the people, I hate everything. The heck with school!! I wish I could just go home and that's saying a lot. Yeah so that was sucky.

Well besides detention today was pretty good, messed with acouple freshmen, the school's new lunch system is way awesome we have fucking chili burgers now and they're awesome:buttrock:

I have an interview tomorrow at the Henry Ford, and I am very nervous over that. I don't know how I am going to resolve my laptop issue without reloading windows onto it. Money is very tight and I am still living with my folks.

Oh and the interview is for volunteer/internship work because no one will hire me in the archives field because my two years of Grad School plus work in the Library's preservation department is not adequate experience for them.

Here's one:

I've been taking my lady-friend to work now for the past two weeks. On this particular day, I had to buy gas first and she had to go to Kroger. She had to be at work before 5:00 and it was 4:40. I drop her off at Kroger and go to the nearest gas station. Said gas station was one of those gay "Pay before you pump" stations.

So I go into the gas station to pay, and there's this long line at the register. Apparently, some idiot had a fucked up credit card and broke the cash register. The clerks spent like.....five minutes trying to fix the register. Finally they were just like **** it, rang me up for my gas on another register, and sent me on my way.

When I got back, my friend gave me the evil eye. I explained what happened and she just rolled her eyes. It was 4:55.

So please people; make sure you have good credit before buying gas.:redface2:

I started college a couple of weeks ago and instead of spending the first week going out and meeting people, I spent it playing Bioshock (don't worry, it was worth it), so everyone's already found their little groups to hang out with for the next few years. Besides that, everyone on my floor is a jock and everyone in my major is borderline-emo or a hippie. At least Mass Effect comes out in a couple of months!

Hah! No one can top mine unless they have a death in the family today.

Seriously. You want bad days.

Last week was one of my daughter's birthday. For months she's been asking for a hamster as a pet so I decided to get it for her (forgot to ask the hubby for his opinion). I went to PetCo, which is a 20 minute drive from my house, and bought two Teddy Bear Hamsters along with the cage, food, goodies, etc, etc. I spent $106 and some odd change on the hamsters, cage, bedding, toys, etc. After I leave, I go to my store to show the hubby what I bought. PetCo to my business is a 10 minute drive and by the time I get there one of the hamsters ate threw the box. Luckily I was able to see that he did before he got loose so I stick him in the box with the other hamster.

I show the hubby the hamster and go pick up my eldest from volleyball tryouts and head back to pick the hubby up from work. By this time another 20 minutes have passed and the hamsters are fine in their box. We stop off at the grocery store across the street and I remain in the car with the eldest to play with the hamsters. Another 15 minutes pass and we leave for home but of course the eldest needed to get her volleyball to practice so we stop at the sport store near our house. We go and spent about five minutes and we got back into the SUV I noticed the hole in the box. One of the two hamsters had escaped.

We searched and searched for the damn thing and figured the damn thing went up into the dashboard. So I left it water and food to try to bait it out of the SUV. No luck. For several days I check and try to see if the damn thing would come out but no luck. Well I forgot all about the hamster over the last two days (Sunday and Monday) and when I went into my car this morning... I knew the hamster was dead. The SUV smells like an open sewer.

Yup, the damn thing is STILL in my dashboard... dead.

And what's worse... it's been 95+ degree heat the last few days which means the thing is decomposing FAST in my SUV.

Cost to get the dashboard removed to find the damn dead hamster... over $700. But the kicker is that I have wait until FRIDAY to get it done. So, needless to say I can't drive my SUV until that day and need to leave the windows open to keep the stench from permeating the vehicle on a permanent basis.

Least I still have my old van to drive. Glad I never sold it and decided to hold onto it just in case.

So I very much doubt anyone's day can be any worse then mine.
Anyone have $700 to give me?
