Stuff you always notice in Super Sentai

From what I've seen...Red is always a guy. I want a female red one.

Well, I'll be all for this as long as they shy away from the usual stereotypes of having a female lead that is also the leader of the team. I'd like her to be a strong, independant woman in at least her mid-twenties. She should be a born leader, but also have her own faults. Maybe she has a short temper, maybe she's a little too bossy and straightforward, and maybe the others think she could stand to be a little more feminine. As as always, there needs to be someone that she sometimes gets along with, but most of the time they are butting heads. And even through these faults, they all agree that she is the leader because she is physically and mentally capable of taking on such a task.

Red is neverending in Super Sentai.

But, you know what I know this. The explosions lately are just computer-generated. They look fake and dosen't look like they get hurt. I want those explosion from the 80's and 90's, they look mind-blowing and realistic.

they are expensive.

on the subject of money, one more thing i noticed,

Production is getting cheap, but they are coming up with more and more rubbish mecha to sell toys.

I suppose so.

Also, another thing in Sentai lately is there is never an episode where one or two guys are dressed like girls.

There's no actual "battle scars" on the uniforms as of late anymore.

Example: Ranger gets hit, spark pack goes off, black mark on uniform to show wound.

Another thing I noticed:

The big bad gains a major advantage and is about to destroy the world. All the heroes, one by one, gaze in horror as the reality is about to set in that the world will end...

...And then someone or something (another hero or mecha) takes out the plot device in the nick of time. Cue heroic music.

Hero: Sorry I'm late, guys. Take care of the rest.
