Street Fighter, Final Fight Clash In New Comic

Back when fighting games ruled the land, Street Fighter was king of the mountain…but Final Fight was always nipping at its heels. Granted, they were technically two different genres (SF is a one-on-one tournament fighting game and Final Fight is a street brawler)….but they were similar enough that the two worlds colliding seemed inevitable. How come nobody thought of a crossover until now? We’re not sure, but here it finally is: Street Fighter Vs. Final Fight, a new one-shot comic due out this Saturday. “In this incredible issue by writer Chris Sarracini and UDON Artists Jeffrey “Chamba” Cruz, Edwin Huang, Joe Ng, Panzer, the fantastic fighters of two titanic video game franchises collide… across multiple eras of fighting game history!” boasts publisher UDON. “This martial arts fueled-feud sees Street Fighters Ryu, Chun-Li, and and Guile square off against Final Fight’s Haggar, Guy, and Cody throughout stories that reach all the way back to Final Fight, and all the way up to the modern day Street Fighter 6 era!” We’ve got
 
I am not sure if I count this as crossover because they are in the same Universe. Many Final Fight characters had joined Street Fighter.
 
Street Fighter and Final Fight actually share the same universe! Cody, Guy, and Poison have been playable characters in Street Fighter Alpha and beyond, and even Metro City, the setting of Final Fight, has been referenced in Street Fighter 6 with the new character Kimberly. So, this crossover isn't quite as groundbreaking as it seems, but hey, seeing these iconic characters interact across different eras is still pretty cool, especially for free!
 
Free Street Fighter comic? Sounds too good to be true. This is probably just a cheap marketing ploy to promote the Final Fight solo comic. Still, might be worth checking out because the art is decent.
