Steve Carrell and The Rock Get Smart

They're doing a Get Smart movie based off of the old television series about a bumbling detective with a whole mess of gadgets who somehow always gets the bad guy. Now, the only reason this is somewhat interesting is that The Rock and Steve Carrell will be in the thing! No idea who The Rock will play, but Steve Carrell will play Maxwell Smart, the lead role. Should be a lot of fun!

whoa, I'm surprised. I wonder if the Rock might play one of the bad guys in the film but Steve sounds like an excellent choice for Maxwell Smart. I remember watching that show on Nick@Night long ago. Havent seen it in forever, though.

Pretty old news about Steve Carell being in "Get Smart", but the Rock news is fairly recent.

Might not be so bad, Steve might be able to save The Rock's career. IMO, his movies (post-The Rundown) have been mediocre at best, and his video game didn't do well either.

Well, the one thing that made Rock recognizable and famous was his wrestling career and he just tossed that away for the film industry. Now you hardly see him, he's forgotten by people who dont watch wrestling and not making a lot of movies. I think he should just go back to wrestling.
