Alright, Den-O is 14 episodes in, so at the moment, it's pretty much 1/3 to 1/4 done. And since I need to catch up, I want to see the opinions of people on how they think of Den-O versus Kabuto so far.

Based on the FIRST QUARTER. Not on how Kabuto sucked the second half, but the first 14/15 episodes.

This one is a toss up for me, because I adore both characters. If I have to choose though, I am going to say Takeru, just because he's more fun and shy and sweet and he's got LOADS of room for character development, where Tendou really didn't.

Hana. DEFINATELY. I love a woman who can get rough. *drools* Also, all of Hiyori's moaping kinda bothered me.

Hmm... As much as I like sword form, I LOVE Gatack's form better, and I also love the hopper forms, so I'mma say Kabuto.

Ryotaro or Tendou? Who's the better main character? Ryotaro - He's not so cut and dry as Tendou. The only way Tendou didn't really change at all throughout Kabuto

Hiyori or Hana? Better lead girl? Definitely Hana.

Storyline? Den-O or Kabuto - I liked Kabuto's better so far

Fights? Den-O or Kabuto - Kabuto.

Don't get me wrong though. Even though most of my answers were pro Kabuto I really like Den-O. I'm really biased towards Kabuto. Den-O is definitely worth watching.

LOL it's true. That question shouldn't count.

ETA: Why are we even pitting Kabuto against Den-O anyways? They're each their own show, and can't really be compared, as Kabuto was DED SRS and Den-O is CRACK!FIC.

I don't think this will really be fair... unless someone has only watched the first 14 of both shows... From my old journal entires, I know my opinion of Kabuto change dramatically within the first half of the show. Dramatically as in I didn't remember liking the show at all... Or ever liking Tendou. :laugh: But maybe people have better memories than I do, and can remember what they thought this time a year ago. XD

So from what I pieced together from old journal entires and my opinions on Den-o now:

Tendou was better.
Hana is better.
Storyline? This early? Den-O has more potential at this point.
Fights in Kabuto were better.
Den-O music FTW.
Tie for suit designs. Momotaros and party > the Masked Forms, but Kabuto's Rider forms > Den-O

This is true. Not to mention what Faded said. Two completely different shows.

So far I like Kabuto best BUT I haven't watched anything else to the end. It could also be the Kabuto was the one I watched fully first so it's special. Or it could all be the Kagami. I'm not sure.

I think comparisons between Rider shows are fairly valid. Same elements + different methods of execution = great ground comparison.

It is better than say, comparing Gekiranger and Den-O any ways. :anime:
