Sorry Den-O has much more to grow on the storyline ..so i would like to see these after 14/15 epi ... if it is juz comparing on 1-14 .. i would like kabuto more .. but i enjoy den-o too lo l..

Ryotaro or Tendou? Who's the better main character? I like em both

Music OP/ED/BGM? Den-O or Kabuto Den-O no contest

Suit Designs? Den-O or Kabuto Well Tie Deno has good design, but the Kabuto suits were amazing. Cept, the Imagins win over the worms hands down.

As it is the two don't have Anything in common. Except there both Rider shows.

Fights? Den-O or Kabuto
Den-o

Music OP/ED/BGM? Den-O or Kabuto

Suit Designs? Den-O or Kabuto

Wow and here I was thinking this was going to be another Yagu V Tendou thread >_>

Ryotaro or Tendou? Who's the better main character?
Ryoutaro for sure, by now we knew Tendou was all about pointing to the sky and saying "I am the best". Ryoutaro has already, slowly but surely, more confident in himself, and is actually looking to actually being involved in the slowly unveiling mysteries of the show it's self, so yeah, Ryoutaro wins this by a long shot.

Hiyori or Hana? Better lead girl? Hana, she actually has screen time and is actually allowed to DO something than "I don't jump around when I go to shows, I must be Emo".

Storyline? Den-O or Kabuto - Ackk this is tough, cause unlike other people here, I have to say "What story" even around Kabuto 14. I know people complain about the forumlatic nature of Den-O but Kabuto seemed to be as big of a offender, with the whole "Worm shows up, mimics someone, Tendou does something seemingly unrelated until it ties in, Rider kicks worm." This might get me killed but I'm actually going to say Den-O on this one too, Cause we actually know the Imagins goal, where the Worms were just "Mimic, kill, mimic, kill" at this point.

Fights? Den-O or Kabuto - Well I'm torn yet again, Kabuto had better Cherographed fights, but I'm finding the Fights in Den-O more entertaining to watch, since Den-O isn't untouchable like Kabuto was. But I will give this to Kabuto for the Cherography.

Music OP/ED/BGM? Den-O or Kabuto - Oh God, Den-O. I like Next Level and Full Force/Lord of Speed, but Climax Jump DOES'T ABUSE the Synthesizer and I rather like the Jazzy BGMs of Den-O, more so than the Kabuto BGM's which were good.

Suit Designs? Den-O or Kabuto - Kabuto (At least the rider Forms) wins this, but Den-O's forms arn't that far behind though XD.

Yellooooow I love your avatar!!! Who did the art??

Also, I like your answers on this. They aren't without reason, and you're not afraid of being stoned by the Kabuto Fanboys.

Ryotaro or Tendou? Who's the better main character?

Ryotaro hands down (I like Takeru's amazing acting skills when it comes to the personalities). Though I wish either Kagami or Tsurugi would have made a better lead character, if Tendou's personality isn't so perfect and Godlike (and a bit stiff in the acting department).

Hiyori or Hana? Better lead girl?

Hana hands down. She's not really a brooder at all and I like female lead characters who are strong at heart and knows how to take care of herself.

Storyline? Den-O or Kabuto

So far, Kabuto...right until the latter part where the writers completely lost the plot IMO. At least, Den-O kept me interested in terms of character and plot developments.

Fights? Den-O or Kabuto

Kabuto(ish); only for the Reiji part (and I'm not much of this Matrix-gimmick Clock Up fan), but Den-O so far has kept my interest so far on how the battle's been dealt with.

Music OP/ED/BGM? Den-O or Kabuto

Den-O definitely. Yay for upbeat jazzy Cowboy Bepop-ish and a little bit of Pirates of the Carribean (what?) music. Though Kabuto's 'Next Level' and 'Full Force' are cool enough to listen.

Suit Designs? Den-O or Kabuto

Erm...both? Den-O's got interesting suit designs that are based on the Japanese legends and folklore and Kabuto's Rider Form designs are very stylish (okay, so Drake was a little crap in Rider Form) indeed, but the Masked Form designs are a bit too clunky for my taste.

But in terms of monster design...

Den-O wins my vote. They got a lot more personality, creative and colourful designs than Worms (Eurgh. Just how many same old green ones do I need to look? Even Orphendochs in Faiz were more creative than Kabuto, even though they mostly covered in grey colour).

1. I am actually going to say Ryôtarô. He started off nearly unbearable, but they wisely had him grow quickly. He's not like a total badass or anything yet, but he knows that there is evil in the world and it must be fought and all that jazz. He is a very different character in #14 from where he was in #1, and I like that. Tendô is basically the same in the first quarter, and his personality in those episodes never rubbed with me. He only gets better once things start to fall apart for him and we see a more fallible side to him, and along with that I think he becomes more heroic.

2. Hana. While the "LAWLZ I HIT JOO!!1!" stuff is probably going to get a bit tiresome, I like that they are building up a story to her. She does genuinely like Ryôtarô (if none of his alteregos.) Also, she has emotions beyond moodiness, and at least some sense of fashion.

3. Kabuto established a lot of really cool mysteries in the first half. Den-O... etablished a lot of really cool mysteries in the first half, but hasn't dwelled on them like Kabuto did, which really moved along with its plot at breakneck speed. Den-O has been a bit more character-driven, so it excels in that department, but for the story itself I'll go with Kabuto.

4. Tie. The Kabuto fights because of the first few times when they actually tried to show Clock Up having some effect, it was pretty cool, and it was more straight-up punching and kicking. And there was a Rider Kick again, in some form (this is something they improved on as the series progressed, actually.) On the other hand, I like how Den-O has chattier fights, the villains feel a bit more unique than just another molted Worm that jumped out of the bushes, and the train stuff, as odd as it sounds on paper, works out amazingly.

5. Kabuto. It has some really, really good BGM, and you can take or leave the OP, but I love Full Force.

6. It's hard to decide, but I think I'll actually say Den-O. My favorite suit designs in Kabuto came after the first 13/14, with Sasword's forms and the Hoppers. I've basically gotten used to all the Den-O ones enough to say I really like them, and the rearranged suit parts, love it or hate it, is a novel idea.

Ryotaro or Tendou? Who's the better main character? : For me, neither. Given a choice between a Rider protag who is an arrogant jackass or one that is utterly pathetic unless possessed by his collection of familiars is not a choice at all.

Hiyori or Hana? Better lead girl? : I'd have to call neither again in terms of character. But if we're speaking strictly on looks and hotness then yeah, Hana wins. But she is far from being THE best or hottest lead female in a Rider show.

Storyline? Den-O or Kabuto : I'd give it to Kabuto but only because Kabuto started out with some strength to it as something that felt in flavor for an actual Kamen Rider story. I don't know what the hell Den-O is supposed to be . But Den-O does seem to have at least have one thing over Kabuto. A **consistant** tone. Kabuto jerks you around from wacky-assed cookery antics to angst and action and back again in some of the most jarring ways. It's like suffering narrative whiplash. Not to say a story has to be all serious. I've seen that go to far as well. (Take American comics for example). But when it feels like you're being yanked out of a superhero action show and into a comedy anime and back again I think something isn't working right.

Fights? Den-O or Kabuto: Based on what little I've been able to stand watching of Den-O and Kabuto's later eps I'd give it to Kabuto. The choreography is better and they're played a bit more serious.

Music OP/ED/BGM? Den-O or Kabuto: Kabuto. There's many OPs I would take over Next Level but I can enjoy it. Den-O's theme is the worst Rider OP I have ever heard.

Suit Designs? Den-O or Kabuto: Den-O really takes the crown for fugliest Rider designs of all time. When Rider designs have gotten bad enough for me to say "..maybe I was too hard on Ryuki" something is very wrong. Most of the other Kabuto designs aren't much better but Kabuto and Zabee's standard Cast-Off forms I think are quite nice.

I agree with you on all count... though I think I love Den-o Sword Form better than Kabuto's Rider form at this point, but the Kabuto Rider Forms over shadow the other Den-o forms.

Beside Tendou didn't feel like a CHARACTER at all! Kagami is more the main character of this show. Tendou is a big plot device...he just beats up Worms.
