Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions

Whoa! Another licensed game that actually looks good.

so there's only one more left. That Pre-Order special is just Cosmic Spider-Man in different suits/variations right?

this almost makes me want to buy a console

Wow that is so underwhelming. I would honestly just rather have Amazing Spider-Man 2099 crossover, I mean honestly who cares about the Noir-verse and the Ultimate universe has lost all it's luster that it is now kinda sad. And will they please stop with damn symbiont suit, it wasn't featured in the comics as much as in the games.

You know what would have been awesome instead of having these dimensions it just had different time periods, but one would focus on Peter, another on Ben, and finally one on May. I mean they are honestly trying to hard with games now.

I and alot of other people who bought spider-man noir comics do.
I don,t see how Spider-girl makes a interesting universe.
All she would be is 616 spider-man who is weaker and a little bit faster.
I would have liked the 1602 universe more then the symbiot but it is ultimate, has deadpool in it and it is voiced by the guy who did the Spectacular Spider-man cartoon so i am oke with it.
And i don,t think they are trying to hard this game, it looks like the old school ps1 games which are the most fun spider-man games made.
I say they are doing a good job so far and it has Stan lee as the narrator:castlerock:

Let's be honest the Noir books were a novelty Marvel came up with so all those crime authors they hired would be able to come out with something readable. And with the sales of the last few miniseries it is doubtful we will see them again. There are far more deserving Spider-Man universes deserving to be included.

And yeah they are trying too hard, the concept introduced in Spider-Man 2 is still viable. Instead of having a set storyline just let the world go on it's own, have supervillains encounters and other emergencies happen at random times. Just make it feel like a day in Peter Parker's life. Honestly the Spider-Man series is starting to feel like Sonic series.

Like who???
Spider-Girl???
I gues they can save that for the sequel.
I thought that Spider-man Noir was the best Spider-man book that i have read in years.( the only one beter being the new Spider-man/Wolverine team up comic)
I find it cool that they are going back to the ps1 gamestyle since to this day those games feel the most like spider-man( beside ultimate spider-man) and have fun things like comic book covers, costumes, cameo's from other heroes and a funny spider-man.( And good voice acting unlike WOS)
I can see why you want free roam but most spider-man games that have that are boring. Spider-man 2 and Ultimate Spider-man are the only once i thought where pretty fun.
You have such a large city and yet there is so little to do.
I rather have them put more effort into a level based spider-man game with costumes, comic books and fun missions then to have another free roam spider-man which has a large good looking city but gets boring afther 20 minutes.
The problem i have with free roam is that Activision has no idea how to handel it and you know what they NEVER wil.
All those cool things that you mentioned wil most likely not make it into the game because it would mean that they would have to take 2 or 3 years to make a spider-man game. Which they are not going to do when they can rush out a spidey game in les then a year.
I would realy like a spider-man free roam game that just blows me away but knowing Activsion it is just not going to happen.
And also with the new movies its only going to be more rushed and poorly made. I realy hope that you don,t mind fighting the same guys, doing the same missions again and leaves you in a life less city after the story ends because you are going to get alot of it.

Voice actors for the game.

In the game, players traverse through four unique worlds from Spider-Man lore and take on the role of four distinctly different Spider-Men – Amazing, Ultimate, Noir and 2099 – which will be brought to life by Neil Patrick Harris along with Josh Keaton, Christopher Daniel Barnes and Dan Gilvezan, respectively.

Additionally, legendary creator and comic book icon Stan Lee will guide players through the storyline of Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions as the game’s narrator, and Emmy Award-winning composer Jim Dooley has created an original orchestral score for the game.

Each of the actors voicing Spider-Man in the game has portrayed the web-slinger in previous Spider-Man animated television series. Neil Patrick Harris voiced the wall-crawler in “Spider-Man: The New Animated Series†in 2003; Josh Keaton was the voice of Spider-Man in “The Spectacular Spider-Man†from 2008-2009; Dan Gilvezan starred in “Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends†from 1981-1983; and Christopher Daniel Barnes voiced the iconic Super Hero in “Spider-Man,†the 1994 series.
