Sonic and the Secret Rings

Anyone getting this game? It's out, I'm going to try and head out to buy it soon. Since, you know, it's really the only other game for Wii out there right now.. (That's interesting). I'm hearing good things and a couple bad things about it. But it sounds like a solid experience so far.

So far the only things I've heard on it is that the game is somewhat better than the terrible terrible Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360 and the PS3. Meh I might just play it at an EB or something, Sonic died after Sonic Adventure for me. :170:

Word on the street is that Sonic DS brings Sonic back to form and has been the best, and not just in comparison cuz others have sucked, but because it rocked.

Lotta folk swear by it.

I wanna buy Secret Rings with my next paycheck, but I don't know if I should get that, buy that Galaxy Force Optiums Prime, or save up for the 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime.

Oh for the love of.. get the game man! stop buying those toys. lol. I kid I kid but remember you could always rent the game if you arent sure about it. That's what I would do but I loved the sonic adventure games. Especially Adventure 2. That was a great game

Personally, I though Sonic Rush for DS was terrible. Every level in the game is Chemical Plant with tons of spikes & bottomless pits thrown in the middle of speedways. IMO it didn't get anywhere remotely close to the Genesis Sonics -- and yes, that includes Spinball and 3D Blast.

Edit: Just so this post isn't a huge wad of negativity, Wii Sonic looks awesome and I am very much looking forward to playing it.

SONIC IS BACK!!!!

Holy fucking **** guys. I'm not lying to you when I say this game has been the best 3D sonic experience I've EVER fucking had so far. And I'm not even half way done. Look, I've read the review and a lot of people keep saying "this really feels like the classic sonic games!"

The first two stages, The Oasis and Dino Jungle, don't do this game justice. In fact, when you first pick up this game, just sit back and relax because this game has a lot to teach and tell you. So it's slow to get going.

But dudes. My fellow Sonic Fans. Once you get to the Third Stage known as "Evil Foundry" you will freaking know you are playing a TRUE sonic game! Evil Foundry not only has bad ass music but the entire time I had tingly vibes of Sonic 2! It truly felt that great!! It was freaking beautiful!!

Then when I thought it couldnt get better, I went to the fourth stage known as "Levitated Ruins". Just... guys look. Still pictures cant do this game justice. If you're looking up videos or images, don't. It doesnt give you the proper impression. When you play the first level of Levitated Ruins you will know.. You will fucking know that you are quite possibly playing one of the best Sonic games in a looong time. Since Sonic and Knuckles.

That's saying A LOT coming from me. I loved Adventure 1 and Adventure 2. I liked the previous 3D games. They were good... but you have no idea. You have NO. IDEA. WHAT you are MISSING until you play this game. You cant even imagine the level of nostalgia. It's like... sega woke up and said "lets make sonic GOOD again!".

Guys. As a buddy.. a toku buddy. A hju buddy. I DEMAND every single one of you go buy this game NOW. Just freaking rent it! Just rent it if you must! Get to Evil Foundry! Take your time but get to Evil Foundry. Trust me you will not understand until you reach there. Then play the Levitated Ruins..

Using Speed Break (Sonics ultimate Speed Boost which you dont get until just moments before the Levitated Ruins stage unlocks.), dodging **** loads of missles, hopping off the backs of flying stingrays with cities on their backs. Everything was so completely amazing. Completely. Amazing. I cannot stress enough praise for this game right now it's easily my favorite Wii game right now.

**** Twilight Princess. Sonic and the Secret Rings kicks ASS, especially if you are a sonic fan!
