Some comp help, desktop wallpaper issue

Ever since I formatted my computer a few months back whenever I pick a wallpaper it works fine and I use it. But when I restart my computer the wallpaper dissapears and the background is black and I have to go into my settings to find the chosen wallpaper. I've been doing this over and over again and now it's pissing me off.

Any idea on why this is happening?.

Is your wall paper on your computer? Not on a usb thumb drive?

um, a what?.

I just click "set as background" on a website and it's my desktop wallpaper. But for some reason whenever I restart the computer it's gone. This never happend to me before until I did the formatting 2 months ago.

A USB... you dont know what that is?
It resembles a gaia memory...

He basicly is asking you if that wallpaper isnt on a external source. A device that you would plug into your pc?

try downloading the image instead of using it online, just a guess but *shrugs* may work

You need to save the image onto your computer first, then set it as your Background image. If you do it the way that you've said that you did, when you delete cookies and history on your computer, then the background will disappear, same with rebooting and starting the computer.
