Some seem to think that Gridon will be trained by Oren. I didn't get that impression at all. Neither the comic relief he's "supposed" to be. To me, it looked like he used Hase for his own purposes and now he's moved on to Oren to eventually use him as well.

I think that's what makes him interesting to adults maybe? He isn't cool or op or heroic, but a more gray character and a cheat that will maybe do some shitty things in the end just to come out on top. Dunno, just speculating.

This does seem like the most likely case, now that I think about it and reflect on what he's done thus far. Probably hit it right on the nail with that actually. Will be surprised if he ends up being a better character then that down the road though.

That's a very good question, it's because hes a skinny little wimp. People nowadays love skinny little wimps as super heroes. Kidding aside, I have no idea. Out of all the Gaim riders, hes my least favorite. For comedic relief he fails and for fighting abilities hes a joke. Maybe that's why the producers love em, we need a joke to laugh about with all that suffering coming.

I've actually taken that idea and rolled with it for my softsubs. I replace his name with "Cornay" now.

Why they went with that atrocious name I'll never understand...especially when Cornay both fits the original intent AND cadance much better. Think about how Gridon thought his name sounded stupid, or even "corny". Consider that "A-Corn" to "Corn-Ay" splits the word along its natural syllable break, just like Guridon.

I had to stop and think for a while when I read the subtitles the first time just to figure out what pun they were making. That's doing it WRONG. It's supposed to make the joke EASIER to understand!
