So my car took a dive on me

yeah I was going down the highway and I started hearing this clicking noise. I figured it was nothing. then a few miles down the road.. I notice my oil gauge is VERY close to the red (over heat mark). so I pull over and check everything I know to check. (coolant, oil.. >>) when i check the oil it was all over the dip stick and being the complete fool that I am.. i add 3 quarts of oil to it... >> it starts smoking again a few miles down the highway so I pull over off an exit this time and get it towed to Jimmy's. this was sunday night. it wasnt looked at till today when they call me and tell me that... my flex pipe for my exhaust and my intake manifold are both broken so its just sucking air... and then they tell me that labor alone is going to cost 400$... and ou know what really sucks.. ford discontinued making intake manifolds for the 97' ford contour... crap.

I'm glad I'm DONE with cars. I work 5 mins from my home now and don't need a car anymore. Saves me almost $1,000 worth of cash a month by being a loser and taking the bus.

haha yeaah I have one. es a great car otherwise. but srlsy. my first car. chevi corsica. was the ****. and I think. next car I get. will be a chevi. when I can afford one.

hahah that is true, that would be a better way to get around. but thing is. me buddy. They be further then walking distance away from me. >> if they were down the road. or my job was down the road. I prolly wouldn't drive ether hahaha

well i got the part for 45 from a junkyard and had it delivered to jimmy's and they said they might not get to it till tomorrow (wed) so heres hoping itll run again.. hopefully >>

Even if Ford doesn't make them anymore, you can probably/should be able to go to an auto parts store and get an after-market part that would work.

I plan on living where they don't need cars (Ann Arbor, Chicago, Tokyo) because frankly ,i don't want to die from one.
