Publisher Clear River Games and Korean developer CRT Games have published their latest collaboration, Snow Bros 2 Special, on Nintendo Switch. Note that we just published a review of this game, which you can read at this link. Previously last year, Clear River remade the original Snow Bros in the form of Snow Bros Wonderland, and in just a few short months they’ve moved to the sequel. There are some improvements…for example, Snow Bros Wonderland only supported two player co-op, while Snow Bros 2 Special allows as many as four players to snow up the screen. Time Attack and Survival? That caught my eye. I like modes where I can test my skills. If the controls are tight, I can see myself going deep into this game. The arcade game is a bonus but I’ll probably spend more time in the enhanced version. Also, online co-op makes a difference. I play with friends from different cities, so I’m glad they added that. Looks fun. I like cute games that don’t take themselves too seriously. Four-player support makes it great for parties. The Monster mode sounds different, and I’d like to try that first. I haven’t played the first one, but this looks easy to get into. Also, it's good that you can just play the old arcade game if you want. More options is always better.

This could be a great game for quick streams. It’s colorful, easy to follow, and the four-player option means I can invite viewers to join in. The Sky Run and Jumping modes sound like they’re made for fast-paced action. If the Monster Challenge has variety, I can make content from that too. Might add it to my rotation next week.
