Smallville - Final Season 10

Yeah the Clark & Lana thing makes me vomit.

The last batch of episodes I've seen when they aired but it's always good to go back and check em out again. Except for the finale which I didn't see. I want to see Super Clark vs. Milton Fine Brainic in an epic fight.

Lex was a total asshole to Chloe, but I laughed when he said "I now understand why you never had a serious relationship". The asshole side continues to grow for Mr. Luthor.

Lionel continue to sicken me. He reminds me of an old wolf that came late to the hunt and is just trying to eat the leftover meat on the bones (Martha).

Great finale, I was shitting myself when Zod was released into Lex. That once scene where it shows lex from behind was just eerie as hell. Clark is in for a smackdown now especially with him being trapped in the Phantom Zone.

Good premiere. So Iceman’s brother (Jimmy Olsen) finally appears. I thought the scenes where him and Chloe were hitting on eachother was brilliant just due to the look on Clark’s face, it was jokes.

Lex-Zod stabbing Lana in the hand was the highlight of my life. I’ve been waiting for someone to do this since episode 1 of season 1.

Looks like one of those creatures from the Phantom Zone got out as well. Should be an interesting season.

The looting and chaos in the streets of Metropolis kinda reminded me of PRiS’ “Countdown to Destruction†finale.

The Green Arrow arc just kicks my ass. The fact that he's around for more than just one episode like Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg were is just great.

I also like the new addition of "Zoners" being the motw rather than it always being the infect residents.

This new Lana is lame. I don't buy her new "bad guy" persona one bit. On an interesting note is this bitch doing anything since graduating high school?. Everyone seems to have gone onto professional jobs, even Clark working on the farm since Jonathan died, yet Lana...continues to still be the emo dramatic child that she was in high school. She is pathetic.

Also LOVED the Gotham remark in the ep where we find out more on Lex & Oliver's past.

I don't know much of Green Arrow outside of the DCAU (Justice League Unlimited). I don't recall him being a millionaire in that version. So I guess they fully revamped his character for Smallville.

Smallville is getting a 100 minute Retrospective on the Complete Series release. I actually want to start this show now...

If you like Buffy and Angel... than Smallville IS FOR YOU.

In the comics Green Arrow was a millionare, much like Batman. He even had his own Arrowcave and I believe an Arrowmobile. So it was probably a choice to update an earlier version of the character.

Explains why he had an Arrow plane in that episode of Batman: Brave & the Bold that I saw.

I guess they dropped that in the DCAU. I really wish JLU went in depth for these character's back stories. It wouldn't have left me here guessing a few things. I COULD go read up on them but I figure eventually Animated films will be released so I could just hold out until then.

I might be wrong but I think GA in the DCAU is based more on his more modern days where he lost his millions and became more involved in social issues. I recall Batman in the first ep of JLU saying he wanted GA on the team because they needed somebody like him to be their conscious.

And it might be awhile before you see any other full length animated movie for Green Arrow. As stated elsewhere on here the only movies that seems to sell are the ones based on Batman, Superman, Batman/Superman or Justice League. Everybody else don't seem to do as well. To be honest we only got GL Emerald Knights was because of the movie. There was an animated short that came with the deluxe edition of Batman/Superman: Apocalypse that's pretty good if you haven't seen it already.

I'll be sure to check that short out. I got some shorts to get through still including Jonah Hex & Catwoman that came with my blu-rays.

They also have one for the Specter and Captain Marvel, those two are a pretty good primer on those two characters.

Getting back to Smallville, I can't wait until you get to the episode titles "Justice". That's the one ep I remember clearly from season 6, especially since I had the night off it originally aired lol
