Great find! That price tag is going to be a killer though. Hopefully HLJ will have it with a lower price for preorders.

Yeah, I'm seriously thinking of getting it. I'll have to save up and even sell off some of my collections (both for the money and the room!), but it's just so tempting. Especially when you think it's about the same if not less than some of Toei's DVD box sets. The only catch is the cost of shipping will be quite a lot. But still very much worth it :anime:

News comes from none other than Sazer Gordo himself! Apparently this diorama set had been pushed back and was just recently released.

I'm both disapointed and relieved that I was never able to place an order for it. On the one hand the price is very steep, and the size of the set would have cost a small fortune on its own. Then there's the issue of finding a place to put the damn thing. But then again, knowing it's out there and that I'll never be able to buy it for retail ever makes me kinda sad. I just wish Bandai will consider making any further diorama sets less expensive. I don't see why they need to resort to using polystone for these things. I'm sure they can make a good quality product without it.

As some villains in older series were depicted. I haven't seen the original Kamen Rider, but some Destron members in V3 wore black pointy-hooded robes in the early eps. The leader of the Black Cross Army in Goranger also wore similar robes.
