Shuriken Sentai Ninninger Shinobi 27: "Summertime! A Transcendent Star is Born!"

Back to some plot this week, as Kyuuemon once again tries to lure Kinji over to the dark side, Yoshitaka (the grandpa) delivers a Yoda-style "fear leads to anger" type speech (you're telling Takaharu that ninjas shouldn't fight with emotion?), and Kinji not only gets an upgraded form but becomes an official student too.

That was the end of the "Summertime!" arc. Next week, Super Ninja Taisen!

I think the youkai's power is affeting Kinji in his transcendent mode, indicated with that slight burst of dark energy when he went wild.

I think Kinji will turn werewolf.

I thought this episode was good!
I'm glad Kinji resolved his "revenge" phase.
Kinji's family and childhood home seems very cowboy Wild West.

The youkai energy he got from Kyuuemon and the werewolf wound will probably come into play in a later arc, perhaps. I look forward to it.

Ooh...New arc starting next episode...

- Did anyone noticed the fight at the beginning of this episode happens in the same place where Nira was arrested?

- Bloody Moon looks awesome. And it actually looks different compared to all those "moon-in-background" attack since Go-Busters

- Fuuka sleeping while leaning to Nagi......somehow I doubt there are any male-female cousin relationship like theirs in real life, especially with their age
As someone in Facebook said, they do feel like a couple sometimes, instead of cousins.

- Yoshitaka says Buena Notte? That's new.

- .....for some reason, the Toadtoad Gun is the only non-powered weapon capable of actually hurting Wolfman

- .....Yeah, there's no doubt Kinji will have a Youkai transformation in the future. He already got a few of power from the Youkai Fusion, and he got clawed by Wolfman......the clawing means his transformation will most likely be, ironically, a werewolf.

- It's nice to see Kinji and Taka switched places at the cockpit

- I wonder where's Masakage? He has very little appearance lately.
