It's an old classic Japan TV series .. it's about a journey of a young man of becoming Japanese Number 1 Sushi chef. Just watched the whole series last week and I could say it's the best Japanese TV series I've ever seen. Hmm ... perhaps maybe since I didn't watch too many TV series as well :laugh: ... anyway, it contains humour, jokes, life lessons, love drama, family conflict ... u name it, they have it ... :thumbs: ... highly recommended ... yosh!! NIPPON ITCH!!!

You mean "nippon ichi". It was a cute series, not the best I've seen, but cute. The sushi chef concept adds a twist to the story but overall it's a cute generic show. There was a cooking fad a few years back, there's a few dramas that center around cooking, not just sushi, but other cuisines. If you can find it "My Little Chef" was pretty decent, it had Azumi's Aya Ueto as a supporting cast member.

Really? That sounds cool ... not sure whether I'll still be able to find these movies or not ... :laugh:
