Should Ultraman Zero get his own series?

It didn't do all that well at the box office, despite what fans wanna think or what Mike Verta wanted people to believe. I am a huge fan, and I cannot wait to see this film. But I will not just blindly think that it did well, just because we like Ultraman or because it was so epic. Good films don't do so well sometimes, and they do so sometimes because of what else is at the theaters. The amount of big films also released at the time, and how FEW theaters showed it added to why the film failed to live up to expectations. Disappointed to hear it, but eh I can't say it wasn't totally unexpected. :shakefist I just can't wait to finally see it!

It deserved to go well beyond the box office draw of Super Ultra 8 Brothers. UGL is very original and has an epic scale with lots of effects shots that blow Toei away, thus it deserved more.

But he wasn't an ultraman stand in, that was just the true form of the guy who used the "good" monsters in the series.

yeah Reimon is not pure Ultraman Seijin or Hikari Kyojin in my observations. either if only Tsubaraya, Toho and Toei must work together unleashing Super Hero Time and unlock Ultraman Zero too. but hey, gotta love crossover Kamen Rider vs Ultraman. two henshin senshi were worked together in the end. if only they started in 30 minutes or 1 hour video roll-on.

Ultraman vs. Kamen Rider was too short and pretty much throw-away junk if you ask me. There's was nothing substantial to it, except the fact that TPC and Toei could agree on something.

And I'm sure you single handly proclaiming the film a failure opening weekend had nothing to do with that opinion

What opinion? That it hasn't surpassed Super Ultra 8 Brothers at the box office, a film with a smaller budget?

That's called fact.

I totally get that. But when did I ever say, "It was a disappointment at the box office, in the eyes of MVerta and Mr. Sakamoto"? I didn't did I? They can think that, and I am happy it was a success to them. I truly am. They deserve it.

But taking a step back and looking at the film's box office comparitively, tells a different story. But, I do not mean to demean their efforts or their opinion of success.
