Should I Still Watch Kabuto?

That's why I said "that's just me". How can it be stupid? I want to give a show a chance until the very end, heck, I can even rewatch it since it can probably help me understand it more. Just because you don't like a show and you watch it, it's "stupid" now? FYI, I never miss any KR or Sentai shows because I want to judge it for myself, not rely on other people's opinion on a show. Everybody has their own opinion on anything, and it includes this. So calling a person's opinion "stupid", IS STUPID.

If you want to rely on other people's opinion on a show, then be my guest, but that doesn't stop other people with a different view on how to come to the conclusion of something. And how can it not contribute to the discussion? The thread starter was asking if he should continue to watch a show, and my idea of continuing to watch the show to know the final judgement for yourself IS A VALID ANSWER TO THE QUESTION.

Chill there little guy. I never said your opinion was stupid. I said the idea of watching a show that one hates is stupid. Can you see the difference or do I need to explain further. And yes, I still think watching shows one hates is stupid.

If I start a show and I don't like it after about 5 or 10 eps, I stop watching it. I don't depend on other peoples opinions on shows, movies, books or anything else. You didn't make much sense in your edit, so I really can't comment much further.

If a person forces themselves to watch all of a show they hate just so they can take part in a discussion talking about why they hate it... That just seems BEYOND stupid IMO. And anyone it's not really being informed. It's just expressing an opinion on what you watched.

Beyond stupid? Really? So not giving something a chance and judging it without seeing the whole picture is the logical way now? C'mon, some people just have more patience than you, and you call those people stupid? It's not about wasting time. I may hate the current story of the Kamen Rider franchise, but that doesn't stop me from loving the franchise and knowing the new addition to it. So as far as I can see, your narrow way of thinking IS BEYOND STUPID.

I will say it like this. Say you said you loved watching moe anime. And I said I hated watching moe anime, and I think moe anime is stupid. I did not call you stupid, I called moe anime stupid.

Whoa, everybody's getting too mad.

I personally didn't even get that far into Kabuto. Not because of Tendou's dickery though, but because I think the Kabuto suit is ugly.

The idea you're calling stupid IS MY OPINION. And again, watching something you hate doesn't make it stupid, it gives you a better understanding of the show. It's called being "open-minded" FYI.

Case in point, you'd rather just stop, not fully understand something, and blurt out an opinion which is based on a half-analyzed idea. Now, that's a more qualified advice than someone who fully understood the idea even if it's not to his or her liking???

Since you just can't seem to grasp the difference between calling a PERSON stupid, and calling an IDEA of something stupid... I am just going to stop discussing this topic directly with you. You don't seem to grasp what I am getting at, and I doubt you ever will.

Ok, you didn't call me stupid, but just my opinion right? Which is my point from the very beginning. And did I call you stupid??? As you see, I called your NARROW WAY OF THINKING stupid, not you. So as far as we can see, you're the one having difficulty grasping anything due to your unending knack to say your pointless opinion on either a half understood idea or the wrong notion.

Keep your cool guys..

Personally, I think it's a sin to not finish a KR or Sentai series... Even if I hate it so much I can punch the TV monitor... But that's just me.

I agree with this one. If you are a big fan of the franchise itself, I believe that you should have the guts to finish it. just like me when I watched Den O. I did not like it. I stopped watching at around ep7 or 8 i think but eventually had the will to finish DenO. but this is my opinion. It is really up to you if you don't wanna finish it.

Okay, I'll be honest, of all the Hesei era Kamen Rider series, I dislike Kabuto the most (even more than Den-O)

It has nothing to do with the general story, that part I like, it's just Tendou

Tendou and his little sister constantly acting like pompous assholes and quoting dear sweet grandmama

I spend more time wanting to beat the **** out of Tendou than I do focusing on the story

...Didn't you just answer your own question?

Really? :sly:

I thought the Kabuto suit looks great

I've had a bit of a thing of Beetles since I briefly watched Beetleborgs as a kid.

Some of my school yard chums coaxed me into watching due to them talking about it one day

I think they even went as far to say that it was better than Power Rangers
