Shinkenger The Movie: Sentai's biggest WTH?

Boukenger Vs. Super Sentai says hi, well besides the veteran ranger part. Lol

And that's why Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai says hi.

BEEGU WAAAAAANNNNNN!

Yeah, Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai said hi when I typed it . However, Boukenger only had up to HurricaneBlue. I'm talking redo Gao vs. SS, adding a few more veterans with more screentime, like how some of the older Kamen Riders got in All Rider.

but you know what even sucks? No Blu-Ray release (ever) for Bouken up to Shinken. in short. DVD= for kids, Blu-Ray= for adults. UNFAIR!!!

But it's just sooo beautiful to watch it in HD.

You two just became my new best friends. :castlerock: :buttrock: Yes, Forever Knight, it is beautiful to watch in HD. Yes, arnoldmcguire, the lack of Blus for any Sentai series or movie is a crime, even more for the Shinkenger short () which was released with All Rider, which did get a Blu release. It's about as bad as Shinkenger being 20 minutes. I'm praying for Sentai Blus when the time comes for Sentai's 35th anniversary, though I won't say no to some Goseiger Blu-Rays.

Blu-Ray is also a relatively new media form with no indicator on how it will do five years from now, so it's a little risky to release series on it.

From what I heard Blu's doing alright. I can't see, even if they didn't know where it was going 5 years from now, why Toei wouldn't want to.

It's like putting a Pokemon short in front of Avatar(All Riders)

Off-topic: A Pokemon short in front of Avatar would've been awesome :buttrock:. Yes, I like Pokemon (but mostly the Japanese version) and I also know it would've been the world's biggest WTF if a Pokemon short was with Avatar. At least Rider and Sentai have some common bond.

As much as i absolutely agree with that, :buttrock: i think its better to just stick with recent previous veterans from the last 5 years only because it might be more dificult to get older veterans to return to do a role from like 10 or more years ago. I mean that was genious bringing back Big One though i didnt really understand why Red Falcon. I just thought it was just to make the bird theme with GaoYellow flow. But anyway the only few things i would hope to see for the 35th Anniversary would be to like do update the Gaoranger Super Sentai history stuff about the warriors like the females, swordsmen, techniques, and strength. Plus it`d really awesome if they could make the movie length close to the 1st vs SS cause Boukenger kinda dissappointed me but it was still a good team-up. But on the other hand i guess they could redo the Boukenger vs SS and pick the rangers with the same colors as the previous vs SS team that each represent a special characteristic like the whole: Hope, Love, Courage, Justice, Passion, & Friendship thing :) . If not something similar to those 2 then im sure whatever they come up with will wow us either way. But what do YOU guys wanna see happen for the 35th?

And the Shinkenger "movie" :170: uhh yeah i know its sentai but that was REALLY short, rushed, and probably a waste of time. I seriously we were gonna get some info on the 1st ShinkenRed! Talk about a downer :disappoin: plus what was that little confrontation with Juuzo and ShinkenGold that accomplished NOTHING Juuzo just walked away. They REALLY shouldve saved all those cool stunts during the "all out war" for the finale but the horse were alright and somewhat reminiscent to Gingaman. Overall the "movie" was really kind of a let down the HQ makes look good but really it can just easily be treated as just another episode. Hope the GinMaku Baang movie makes up for it. And this is problly the wrong place to ask but has anybody actually SEEN it yet? Obviously its coming to DvD for like a month or 2 but still.

No, it's because actor Daisuke Shima is pretty popular, and Liveman's always been a fan favorite sentai. Also, unlike Hiroshi Miyauchi, after Liveman, Shima never did anything else for tokusatsu until 2001, when he not only returned as Red Falcon, but was also a regular in Ultraman Cosmos, so his making a tokusatsu comeback was sort of a big deal for the longtime fans.
