SciFi Shows: The First Wave, Dead Zone, Sliders

I just watched the first episode of the FIRST WAVE on Canada's ScFi Network and I must say I'm really impressed with it. I was wondering if anyone on the board watched this show and what they thought of it.

Same goes for The Dead Zone, right now the episode where That '70s Show's Hyde play a smart scientist kid. I'm really enjoying this aswell.

Now, for Sliders I remember many years ago seeing commercials for the show and whatnot. Did anyone here like the show? how many seasons did it last?. Was it just about a group of ppl going through wormholes or time portals or something?.

Sliders lasted for 5 seasons--3 on Fox, 2 on Sci-Fi.

Yeah it was interesting to see the visitors come back after they were forced off during the second mini

I thought First Wave was pretty great show. I never caught the end of the series though. All the conspiracy theories, and interesting characters it'd introduce.

I liked Sliders however started to lose interest in the series after the second season. The 4th and 5th seasons were absolutely horrible.

Yeah, the first few seasons of Sliders was good...then it just got stupid. Not even moving it to the Sci-Fi channel could save it.

I caught another episode where THE SECOND WAVE came in and the actual takeover begins. Very very awesome stuff. I wonder if this series is out on DVD yet.

I think I might check out the first few seasons of Sliders. So do these guys time travel or something?.
