What's the deal with this new St. Seiya series?
This new series, Saint Seiya Omega, is a spinoff that sets 25 years after events of the original Saint Seiya anime, at a time where Pegasus Seiya, the main hero hero of the previous story, is hailed as a legendary Gold Saint, and focuses on Pegasus Kouga, the new Pegasus Bronze Saint.

The cast for the anime has been revealed... and Tohru Furuya will reprise his role as Seiya, who of course gets top billing.
The rest are as follows:
Hikaru Midorikawa as Kōga
Satsuki Yukino as Yuna
Katsuyuki Konishi as Sōma
Tetsuya Kakihara as Ryūhō
Junichi Suwabe as Eden
Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Haruto

That has to appease the fans that are against Omega even if just bit.
They do have Tohru Furuya as "Special Apperance", so I'm guessing Seiya won't be too involve in the plot.
Kouga share voice actor with Heero Yuy? I approve :thumbs:
