Sentai offers some interesting ideas to work with. in some cases, ideas you NEED to work with for footage reasons. I loved the idea of the Silver Guardians, for instance. You can still keep that intact, but without translating Timeranger episodes.
But consider which season gets more praise than most season. Space. A season that said Megaranger sucks, we're goin' to space. Majority of fan's favorite episode? Countdown to Destruction. A two parter that's as detached from it's source footage as possible.

This is true. But then look at the obominations that were created because of original ideas, mainly things from PRNS-PROO.

SPD and Dekaranger were different. I guess PRMF is a good example of following the Sentai version but failing miserably where as I say PRLG-PRWF suceeded.
