I just watched the ending finally & I only have this to say ...

...

...

WTF!!!
:eyebrow:

I think perhaps the HK subs loose something in the translations can someone explain it to me please :eyebrow: Cause I just don't get it...

Things like ... the monsters from the mirror world suddenly come out into the real world... panic madness, attacking! the riders henshin but then suddenly they are in the mirror world along with the monsters?.. Why did the monsters suddenly stop?.. Seemed a lil odd too me ...

I would think if they could come out into the real world the riders could stay in the real world for a bit too...

Oh yes... ?janis? whatever .... red dragon guy :P DIES!! WTF?!..

but then everything is back to normal suddenly but not normal and everyone is happy ect....

oh yes every single reflective glass breaks in japan ... odd to say the least! not only that but no one reacts to it wtf...

Oh yes, bagon dies!! WTF?! & then his helper friend gets killed by mako or at least I assume so anyways gets left knocked out in the mirror world ... then mako gets shot dead by cops... which would never happen irl... unless he had a hostage or something... They could have AT least given us the satisfaction of having bagon or his lil buddy kill /defeat mako properly and then GETS SHOT by the cops! mako... best bad guy ever by the way...at least for this series...

this series was great right up untill the end... its just ... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! WTF!! it is almost as bad as the faiz endings but at least this ending does not piss you off as much as the faiz ending :S are all rider series endings slightly F***ed like this?..

The only ones I have enjoyed so far are , blades sad yet happy... & kabutos though kabutos needed some work on the story... or more episodes or something ... ending was good enough for me though ...

& I have a feeling we will all enjoy a nice happy ending with deno as well... if they give den o some dark screwed up ending I'm done with the rider series hahah!

Oh yes I'm watching the rider vs rider or movies or whatever they are and they are even more disapointing than the series and more screwed up... though it is some what neat seeing nothing but a massive amount of riders kick the crap out of each other heh! we got that in the series though which was better till the end!

Basically the ending is that everything returns as if it never happened. From what I remember, Yui refused to live on using the method her brother was using. If you don't know what that is. He started the rider war to find the strongest human so he could give that rider's life to yui (she will die when she reachs 20). After she knew, she refused. So, I think he reversed time or something (Time vent) and returned before the rider war. Thats the series ending. there are four other endings. The movie, 2 for the 13 riders special and the manga.

btw, having them killed off before the end shouldn't surprise you. It was expected since there was a war. I was actually surprised that some of them died outside of combat which was unexpected (and great !!!).

Ryuki was a total mind-**** for me. It actually made my head hurt trying to figure the damn thing out. I still don't completly understand it. But it mostly has to do w/ resetting the timeline (as Solid mentioned). Which I think is just kind of a lazy way to finish up a big 51 episode storyline.

It is a lazy way to do it.

Though to play devils advocate for a moment in context it makes a certain amount of sense. The entire series main thing is Shinji is trying to get the others to see how stupid using their powers against each other really is. While I'm not a Ryuki fan this actually became the point I could relate to Shinji on. Feeling like the one lone voice going "..you know, Kamen Riders (or superheroes in general) fighting *each other* is fucking stupid. Not to say that most of the characters were ever trying to be heroes but up to that point the name Kamen Rider wasn't used so loosely for anybody in these shoes who happens to have a henshin belt. It was a heroic moniker.

It's kind of insulting when you think about it though. The theme is our hero trying to get the others to stop being selfish (or sadistic) jackasses and be heroes themselves..basically Kamen Riders in the true sense. Yet Toei is milking Rider vs. Rider for all it's worth both then and since.

Ren spends most of the series dismissing Shinji as an idiot for his idealism but also only able to argue up to a point. Everything comes to a head at the end and he stands as the winner of the Rider Fight with the power to have his wish granted. This is after a lot of what Shinji has been trying to say has started getting through to him so when it comes down I think he decided Shinji was right all along so the best thing would be to obliterate the entire war from the face of existance. There was nothing to win because they all lost the moment they chose the Rider Fight with the exception of Shinji who only ever wanted to protect others. It also seems that when Ren made his wish it *really* prevented the war by going all the way back to where it started, with Yuri and Shiro Kenzaki as children. ..but then you have the thing where their adult selves are with their child selves...for that I got nothin.

well actually Ren DID get his wish, wich it was a new life for his gf and then he died, and at the same time Yuy and Shiro went back in time to die as children and that explains the ending w shinji meeting w all the riders

Ryuki's ending rocked. Best of New Gen Riders. I think I'm the only person who understood the ending and had no problems "getting it".

what about how ?lan? batguy seemed to know everything about the riders, as did all the other riders like how htey were all bumping into each other ... after reading some posts I sort of get it but still its a total mind f uck like RF says above :D

WOuldn't that be that they still used the rider war and everyones deaths but still went back intime to fix it all?.. So yui was still using everyones deaths even though she said she didn't want it to end that way?..

are you saying as well that they went back in time, and there childhood selfs died and they took over there bodies much like yuis story but then drew everyone and every thing happy?.. :S just with out the monsters that time
