Ryuki Riders Blank Form

Well if you look at their blank modes, they're not too different from their contracted version. I mean Forever Knight didn't even notice that Ouja changed into his blank form. So I doubt there'd be much variation, a different paint job couple different fins?

Ryuki's is the only Blank form with any noticeable difference from the regular one. I have the RH Ouja Blank Form and it's the same as the regular one except for the paint job and no Venosnaker emblem on his card deck. As far as I could tell it was the same deal in the movie, but he's on screen for so little time I can't blame anyone for missing it.

I also think the quality of my HK DVD has something to do with this. It has a very dark contrast.

Heh i guess it must be worse that that screener copy I saw of the movie. Which is how I originally saw it.

You saw that too? Was that the .avi version that had the 'sample' text in one of the upper corners? I used to watch it before I bought the Japanese R2 DVD.

So... you know what's next right? Alternate Monster Contract mode. I mean, if you can go blank that means its possible to say "I wonder what Knight would look like if he was contracted to Venosnaker." or something similar.

That isn't a subject that goes very deep because the costume depends on what animal is contracted. So if Ren HAD contracted Venosnaker, he would've looked just like Ouja (in fact, he would be Ouja). And if Shinji had contract Evil Diver he would've been Raia, and so forth.

hmmm but we dont know for sure. I mean they go blank and they STILL look kind of like they originally did. Just not as extravagant and colorful. I wonder if Ren really would turn into Ouzya. I mean imaginel. Ouza loses his Monster Contract. He goes blank. We've seen what he looks like Blank. Then imagine Knight contracts Venosnaker and he changes completely to Ouzya's rider design and all. That means there are two Ouzya's. One blank and one contracted. o_o or does the original ouzya switch to Knight Blank! ah HAH! Or would Knight simply become purple. The mystery never ends I tell you.

That is one thing they never explained about Ryuki. Before Shinji contracts Dragredder he's already got the dragon motif set up minus the reds and the Dragon designs, and when Ouja breaks contract with Venosnaker, his costume remains in the Snake design. Probably just a plothole they did catch.
