I dunno, I kind of thought the yin-yang thing from the start. Like maybe one would be "dark" Pokemon (either the actual type or like the "evil" ones in Battle Revolution or whatever it was) and the other would be "light" or the esper(Jpn ver)/psychic type.

That aside though, what I was more curious about is the fact that the trailer said it was a "kanzen shinsaku" which translates to "completely new work". So I was trying to figure out what they could do with the franchise that they haven't done yet.

I have Pokemon on the brain now so I'm listening to "Mezase Pokemon Master" XD I want my boy to cover this song like he covered Pokemon Ondo in an ep from last summer.

Well people from Gamefreak and Nintendo have been saying this is supposed to be a "revolutionary" new game that people won't actually recognize as a Pokemon game...which I think is a little BS, I'm going to guess that we might change from a 2Dish world to full on CG, which I would not mind at all.

Well, if it's just 2D->CG that'd just make it like every Pokemon Game on Wii or N64 so that can't be it. When Nintendo says revolutionary too they usually mean it. If you just look at the Wii and the kind of games and software out for it, it's kind of drastic, so I'd expect the same from a "revolutionary" Pokemon game.

Oh yah, and they said it's coming out in the fall. If it's during my trip, I am *SO* going to the Pokemon Center for the launch.

I think most Pokemon games in the main series tend to be the same, so I guess it's just a little hard for me to imagine anything being too insanely different. Though, in addition to the CG, I think it would be pretty awesome if the games went from the turn based fighting system to something a bit more real-time, with the various moves being button mashers after you get to those certain levels or find a TM or HM. I don't want to expect a lot just to be let down, but it is pretty cool that they're hyping it this way. And of course I think the "revolutionary" part might make its way to the anime, I know some people have already theorized that Ash might be on his way out, like they do every new gen, but this might have a bit more substance.

That would be pretty neat. =O Though I can imagine it would be one hella packed place to be, it'd be fun.

I would knife fight someone for a chance to go to a launch party for a Pokemon game. :O Of course I'd probably lose, but still!

I still haven't played HG or SS... so I don't really wanna think about new games yet @_@; That and it'll probably be this time next year before they're out here, so that should be good.

God, for some reason it's -really- hard to type today. I dunno if it's the fact that I'm basically on a Dayquil diet or what.

It's hard for me to imagine too, which is why I'm so curious about it. =D

I was thinking too it might become something like Pokemon Street Fighter, but then that's just Smash Bros, so that wouldn't be revolutionary. If it was RPG like then, it'd be like those Pokemon Rescue Mystery games, so that's done.

I dunno if it's just Ash on the way out though. The latest opening theme looks like a finale wrap up because they shoved in EVERY LEGENDARY Pokemon from the entire franchise. With Black & White coming out, they might be getting ready to just re-vamp the whole series.

It'd be crowded, but I don't care cuz I'd be there in Japan for the launch. :buttrock:

Though i do find it stupid if ppl complain about this, but not about Yellow version....unless they did like 12 years ago or something.
