I can't stand Thai food; Vietnamese food was actually surprisingly good.

We just got off the phone with family in China. At 7 this morning it'll be...8 in the evening over there. So I guess the ceremony starts at 8 in the evening. :/

I've heard that they're going to be delaying some events...so I don't know if that means the ceremony will be at 7 in the morning or at night, it's confusing.

Yeah, since the time gap is so massive and they want better ratings, the "important" sports will air like 12 hours after so they can be on prime time. The event is being spread out over 7 channels.

I know football (soccer) started already, that, boxing and swimming are the only ones I'm interested in watching.

I'm not really fond of the really overpowering coconut/coconut milk flavourings in alot of Thai food.

Some Pad Thai's you win, some you lose too. They're all so different.

I'm only interested in swimming and basketball.

I'm excited for the swimming this year, it's gonna be pretty intense. I've met the Olympic swimming coach twice (he's from the college I've been attending), I love the guy.

...that is awesome. Found the schedule, apparently the opening ceremony is going to be delayed, it'll be on at 6PM for us. Glad I found a place to watch it online, otherwise it would be annoying to have to wait to see the stuff and probably get spoiled on the results during the day.
