That...made me laugh entirely too much. XD I would just close the laptop up, toss it in a backpack and take it with me into the restroom, wouldn't want to take the chance. Glad you can sneak a few minutes on. Are you not supposed to be on HJU or do you just not want people to see you here while you're studying?

I just find it slightly embarrassing for people to see ShishiRanger, Mebius, and NEWS on my computer screen. I've actually come out of the closet about my Japanese lovin' to my friends and they're all cool with it. Actually, my video game/basketball buddies all bust out in random Japanese phrases with me (they watch anime >_>) so it's pretty fun.

I hate public restrooms and would have nowhere to put my backpack. I refuse to pee with a backpack on. XD

@Yas: Well, if it was naked pictures of you, I'd have no problem showing my computer screen to the world. :O

Kev, you could just disable sigs while you're in a public place, it makes things much easier. XD It's cool that you've got some friends that are into anime and okay with you liking Japanese stuff, people are usually more accepting about this sort of thing than one would think.

Same here, actually. Its still a bit embarrassing for me too. Ive had friends pop up behind me while I was checking HJU, but luckily it was either the front page of the forums or a page where there werent many toku pics. I know I shouldnt be ashame of it but I guess old habits die hard.

Actually, here's a funny story. I was here in my room reading this thread one night and my dad comes in. I turn to see who it is cuz my desk faces the opposite direction of the door, and he sees what Im looking at. I was reading Aoiblue's post with his sig of Yuria showing, so he is like "Whats up with the asian girl in the bikini?" I was like "uhhh.....just some pic a forum member...." and I didnt know how to explain what a signature was to him, so I quickly tried to change the subject, which actually succeeded. But that was a bit embarrassing. Hope he didnt think I was lookin at porn or somethin. :laugh:

Yeah, last night in the elevator to my friend’s apartment it stopped and make a huge creaking noise, and this little white girl looked at her friend and said “Shimata!” So my friend and I looked at each other and started cracking up…so when we reached our floor I ran out screaming “Sugoiii!”

…Maybe you had to have been there. Haha.

So I've been reading about the effects of the hurricane...one of which was causing rain in Austin. My friends and I thought this impossible since we got here, haha. It's caused some ridiculous damage...we should keep praying for the unintelligent ones who didn't evacuate.

I don't think that all of the are unintelligent for not evacuating. Though I'm sure a lot of them were just stupid & refused, though my dad said one of his friends there just couldn't afford to evacuate, so now she's afraid of what will happen. Idk her whole story though.
