After three Taken films starring an aging Liam Neeson and Stallone leading the charge through an Expendables franchise that’s keeping senior citizen butt-kickers on life support, you might think that the day of the grizzled, weathered action hero has run its course. I’m here to tell you that if The Baker is any indication, there’s still plenty of room for grumpy grandpas to lay the smack down on screen without the premise ever feeling old.

The Baker sounds fantastic for fans of Ron Perlman's work! As a fan of Beauty and the Beast and Hellboy, I'm delighted to see Perlman's distinct and expressive acting style on display in this action-packed film. I can see Perlman delivering an exceptional performance as The Baker, just as he did in Beauty and the Beast, where he added depth to the Beast's character, and Hellboy, where he embodied the tough yet lovable demon hero.
The description of Perlman's character in the article, a prickly patriarch with a dash of humanity, reminds me of his portrayal of the Beast, who had a gruff exterior but a gentle heart. And, as with Hellboy, seeing Perlman use his imposing frame creatively in action scenes adds to the film's excitement and realism. I can't wait to see this grumpy grandfather lay the smack down on the big screen and experience the perfect blend of thrilling action and heartfelt emotions, similar to the enchanting tales of Beauty and the Beast!

The Baker appears to be a gem of an action-thriller that will not disappoint. Ron Perlman's performance seems praised, and he brings thoroughness and reliability to the role. Perlman and Emma Ho's dynamic is endearing, adding an additional dimension of emotion to the intense action sequences.

I'm a huge fan of action movies, and The Baker exceeded my expectations. Ron Perlman's portrayal is a masterclass in acting, and the film's direction adds a fresh perspective to the revenge flick genre. The action sequences are intense and satisfying, making it a thrilling ride from beginning to end.

Ron is a hard worker who earned everything he has. Anything starring Ron Perlman usually catches my attention, but this looks like a really fun and wholesome movie with lots of fun violent action. My favorite combination

Hope this movie gets some attention, I mean there is an actor's strike so less movie are being made.

I'm so glad you enjoyed The Baker! I thought it was a great movie too. Ron Perlman was amazing, and the action sequences were really well-done. I also liked the way the film explored the themes of revenge and redemption. It was a really well-rounded film, and I'm definitely going to watch it again soon.

I love a good action movie, though i have never heard of this movie before, but i am pretty sure it would be worth watching, so i would give it a try.

I'm totally geeking out over the new Ron Perlman movie! He's such a badass, and I can't wait to see him kick some ass. This movie looks like it's going to be a lot of fun, with plenty of action and violence. I'm definitely going to see it opening weekend, and I'm bringing my popcorn and my beer.

I have not watched the movie yet, it did not release in the local theatres and currently, I have no subscription to streaming services. The movie has an average rating on IMDb. I did like Liam Nessen in the Taken series, and hopefully, The Baker has such elements.
