I've only seen like two episodes of Tokusou Saizensen, but it was cool to see them together there as well as in the Stronger finale. :disappoin

Uenoyama Kôichi also has commented. He pops up here and there in Tokusatsu but was a regular with Araki in his other super hero role, Chôjin Bibyun. I actually didn't know he had a blog, so that's pretty cool.

What?? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :bawling: 8(

RIP Araki, Japan just lost another great hero.

It's pretty sad that he was only 63 too.He had a good 20 years left to live.Another thing is that he is perhaps the most famous Showa rider behind Ichigo and maybe V3.

...Wow...Late as it is I just heard. That's...I'm not sure what to say.

Really gutted me to read about what his wife wrote, and about the wake.

Go Green/Delta's actor tweeted about briefly meeting Araki a few years ago:

And Muraeda (artist of Spirits) has commented:

Toei channel apparently put up a card about his passing before showing Stronger this week (they've been re-broadcasting it lately.)

Someone got a cap (sort of).

The actor Shigeru Araki passed away on April 14. May he rest in peace. --Toei Channel
