Here's my review of Perfect Zecter. I'm pretty sure there's a link posted somewhere here for the review in Japanese (with images).
May contain spoilers. Proceed with caution.
Unlike Hyper Kabuto (who simply call on the thing), my Perfect Zecter arrived by courier from Japan. The box is BIG. Really.

Here's the requirements;
Two AAA batteries (buy the new ones. otherwise the sound effects won't play properly)
Grunt Worms x infinite
A few High Level Exec Worms
Reiji Nogi (Casisworm) x 1 :laugh:
Now put in the batteries. Read/watch the guide for more info.
For perfection and realism; equip the Kabuto buckle and Zecter as well as Hyper Zecter. :thumbs:
Now that you henshin into Hyper Kabuto, call out the Perfect Zecter and have someone throw it at you (make sure you catch it nicely though). Make sure you turn it on (the switch is on the right side with the X and circle)
In Sword Mode, here's the stuff you can do;
- Press the red button and the sound KABUTO POWER will be played like in the TV. Pull the trigger and release it the moment it says, HYPER BLADE
- Equip only TheBee Zecter. Press the green button and THEBEE POWER will played. Pull the trigger and release for HYPER STING
- Equip only Drake Zecter. Press the blue button for DRAKE POWER. Pull and release the trigger for HYPER AXE
- Equip only Sasword Zecter. Press the purple one for SASWORD POWER. Pull and release for HYPER SLASH
- Put on all the Zecter. Press all the buttons once (you can press em in any order, really) for ALL ZECTER COMBINED. Pull and release the trigger for MAXIMUM HYPER TYPHOON
With these awesome attacks, I think you wiped half of the grunt Worms and all of the Exec Worms. Nogi is next. But wait, we already watched how Hyper Kabuto got owned by Nogi with his Perfect Zecter Sword Mode, rite?
Never fear, activate the Gun Mode. To do this, push a small circle button on the left side of the handle (look at the guide) and pushed the handle down at the same time. A clicking sound will play and followed by GUN MODE voice over. Remove all the Zecters.
- Press the red button and the sound KABUTO POWER will be played. Pull the trigger and release it the moment it says, HYPER CANNON
- Equip only TheBee Zecter. Press the green button and THEBEE POWER will played. Pull the trigger and release for HYPER LASER
- Equip only Drake Zecter. Press the blue button for DRAKE POWER. Pull and release the trigger for HYPER SHOOTING
- Equip only Sasword Zecter. Press the purple one for SASWORD POWER. Pull and release for HYPER WAVE
- Put on all the Zecter. Press all the buttons once for ALL ZECTER COMBINED. Pull and release the trigger for MAXIMUM HYPER CYCLONE
With this, you can be rest assured that this will clean the house from Nogi and his Worm grunts.
To put it back in Sword Mode, press the button and pull the handle up and it will play the clicking sound and followed by SWORD MODE. Turn the thing off and make sure you hide it somewhere safe.
Here's my views on the Zecter;
Pros:
- It is worth it
- Lotsa sound effects
- Pretty easy to get the hang of it.
- Good for releasing some stress
- I scared off some lizards with it
Cons:
- The same sound effects for those individual finishers
- Wish the thing is a little longer
- Can't slice a fish
VERDICT: BUY IT!!!! :buttrock: :buttrock:
otherwise you won't have the complete set, but of course Bandai will sell each seperately so they can soak the money out of ya. ^^
