Review: KR Den O DX Henshin Belts & Weapons

Sooooo basically the belt is a must get? my first and only so far is Kabuto....which I gotta find and try to mod.
Sadly if I get Den-O I'll have to mod that so I can wear it, damn my gut, and I gotta sell soem of my stuff so I can actually buy it :P

I got my Den-O belt lastnight, didn't get to play with it till thisafternoon cause I've been busy.

Things smaller then I expected compared with the feel of my kabuto zecter. What I find interesting is that this thing only respondes to the rider pass and nothing else...I thought it picked up like reflections of light or something but it couldn't be that....and as said, when anything passes by it, nothing happens, but put the rider pass infront of it 0_o bam it works......hows that happen? lol

I think theres something magnetic in the rider pass that allows the belt to read it, not light.

I've actually opened up the rider pass to find out and you're right about the magnet. There is one huge round magnet in there. I've actuall managed to reproduce the rider pass swipe using two refrigeratormagnets.

Well that makes sense now....Magnet is sort of weak though isn't it? I gotta put the pass pretty up close and personal to the belt to get it to responde.

If you had one too strong though couldn't it possibly damage the stuff inside?.. I duno what it is but if its a computer of some sort ... Someone would really have to open up and take apart the belt to figure out that though...

You also wouldn't want it too strong either because then every time you would go to pass it it would attempt to stick to the belt if there is metal on it :D

Guys I am wondering the toy trains come with cards you can use with the deno belt but do you really need the cards for the belt?.. Do they do anything different at all?..

I would seriously doubt it since the belt is controled thru a magnet on the pass, and all the functions are contained using the buttons on the belt itself....so you don't even need a card unless you just feel like having one.
