So I just got back from seeing this movie full of monster ballads, punk angst, and actual opera songs :buttrock: at my local Michigan Theater. There was barely a moment when they spoke. But god damn is it a good movie. Every song was really good and performed incredibly.:thumbs: The one that stuck out the most was the grave robber song, for me at least. If you haven't seen it, go out and get the DVD. It's like ten bucks at best buy or something. Seriously, damn good movie. If you get the chance to see it in theaters, do so. You will not be disappointed :thumbs:

Okay the trailers and a few preview clips of the film looked great and had a few good songs. I saw the final product and heres what I have to say: Complete and utter ****. Most of the songs are god awful with the exception of the ones being used for the trailers, it tries waaaay too hard to appease "Hot Topic" kids, absolutely no substance whatsoever, bland Saw-ish (well look at the Director) dark comedy thats just stupid, etc.

To give an example of how piss poor the song quality is most of the time here take a look at this. A friend of mine who pretty much gives this movie head every night claims this song is the greatest song in the world, then again I shouldn't be surprised she thinks Batman & Robin was a good movie.

There was only two things I liked about this film. The first being the concept, the world it creates, I found that interesting and great. A shame the deliverance couldn't have been better. The second being Terrance Zdunich as the graverobber, best character in the entire film.

Overall I thought it was pretty ok. definitely not my type of movie, but an interesting watch. I loved the fact that Bill 'Otis/Chop Top' Moseley stayed true to his 'psycho' schtick.

I watched that Youtube clip and...ouch. Never mind on seeing this flick, then.

Time to go back to hoping for a movie version of Bat Boy: The Musical.

Well to be fair, out of the 25 30ish songs from the film there are about maybe 2 or 3 that are worth a listen and are somewhat decent (unlike the other one I posted). This being one of them.
