Reccomend me a Korean movie!!

Anyway, I've been watching and laughing my head off at Korean versions of Japanese shows for far to long now and I'm thinking about buying or renting a proper Korean movie or TV show on DVD to experience to true coolness of Korea. And in particular I'm thinking about 2 Martial arts series, including..

Once Upon of Time in High School

and

Arahan

So... Which one do y'all reckon I should watch first, and/or anybody got any other suggestions? Apart from the Tokusatsu series "Erexion" which I'vew already heard of (it's being subbed right?).

And no, suggestions for the Korean Street Fighter won't be counted, or even Hokuto no Ken for that matter.

The Vengeance Trilogy.

Yupz! The vengence trilogy alright! But out of those, I'd highly recommend OldBoy! Frigg'n love that movie!!!!! Well that and My Sassy Girl! It may be a chick flick but dude! That movie is cool!

If you don't watch Oldboy...your life is NOT complete.

Three Kims also looks good. It has two other different titles though. "Master Kims" and "Kim vs. Kim vs. Kim". Funny lookin' martial arts movie.

The Foul King is another good comedy about a banker who takes up pro wrestling to stop being bullied by his boss' headlock at work. Another one of my favorites.

Otherwise, definitely go with the Vengeance Trilogy. :buttrock:

Shiri, Windstruck, Lost Memories 2009, Taeguki - are good action flick stuff.

Taepoong (typhoon) was good as well.

If the more philosophical genre is more your cup of tea...
- Welcome to Dongmakgol (Welcome to the Village of Dongmak)
(This swept the MBC movie awards).
- Save the Green Planet - although, it is totally rated M and just plain some fucked up things...but it's a good movie.
- Love Me I'm a Cyborg - Also messed up, but quite good.
