Eva just sucked period

It was a product of the time. If you didnt watch it when it was first coming out in the US or if you were just in that huge group of friends that over hyped it, ruining your sense of judgment then you probably wouldnt have enjoyed it.

I loved Eva though. I was just always shocked by how the series took a drastic turn from cute anime to "omfg what's going on?!" in a matter of episodes.
