Ranking Every Marvel Phase 5 Project So Far - What's Your Hot Take?

Phase 5 has been... interesting. We're deep enough into this era now that I think we can start making some real judgments about where Marvel's headed. Here's my ranking of everything so far:

Top Tier:
1. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 - Emotional payoff that actually worked
2. Loki Season 2 - Stuck the landing in a way most Marvel shows haven't

Middle Tier:
3. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse - Yeah I'm counting it, Sony can fight me
4. Werewolf by Night - Short but effective, wish we got more like this
5. The Marvels - Better than people give it credit for, hurt by bad marketing

Lower Tier:
6. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania - Kang deserved better
7. Secret Invasion - Started strong, fell apart completely
8. She-Hulk - Had moments but never quite clicked

I keep going back and forth on whether this is "Marvel fatigue" or just the natural growing pains of expanding this universe. The highs are still really high - GOTG3 made me cry in the theater. But the lows feel more frustrating because we know they can do better.

The connective tissue between projects feels weaker than it used to be, and I'm wondering if that's intentional or if they're just struggling to wrangle this many storylines.

What's your ranking looking like? Are you still excited for what's coming or are you checked out until we get to the next Avengers movie?

Guardians 3 tops everything, best character work in years. Loki S2 was strong finish. Spider-Verse is insane, had to count it. The Marvels was good fun, bad marketing ruined it. Werewolf by Night nailed the vibe. Quantumania wasted Kang big time. Secret Invasion started good then crashed. She-Hulk was hit or miss. Phase 5 feels like they’re figuring things out after Endgame. Highs are still great, lows are frustrating. I’m excited for Deadpool & Wolverine and the mutants coming in. Not checked out, but I pick my watches more carefully now.

Phase 5 feels like Marvel is trying too many directions at once. Loki Season 2 was the strongest thing they did, great character work and a solid ending. Spider-Verse is unreal, animation and story both on point, Sony or not. The Marvels got way too much hate, the three leads had real chemistry and it was just fun escapism. Werewolf by Night was short, spooky, and different—I want more specials like that. Quantumania had cool concepts but the script was weak and Kang felt wasted. Secret Invasion started with promise then turned into a mess. She-Hulk had funny ideas but the tone jumped around too much. The connections between projects are loose now, which makes some feel pointless. I’m not fully checked out, but I’m definitely waiting for the big events like Doomsday to see if they pull it together. Still watching, just more selective

The Marvels was enjoyable, bad hype killed it. Werewolf by Night felt fresh. Quantumania was weak. Secret Invasion started okay then boring. She-Hulk had funny bits but dragged. The universe is spread thin, hard to follow everything. I pick what to watch carefully now. Still in for Deadpool, Fantastic Four, and the Avengers stuff. Highs are worth it, just need consistency. Not out yet

My ranking: Spider-Verse first, no contest. Loki S2 second, strong close. The Marvels third, better than its rep. Werewolf by Night fourth, loved the style. She-Hulk fifth, funny at times. Quantumania sixth, weak story. Secret Invasion last, boring. The phase feels like growing pains after Endgame. Connections weaker on purpose maybe. I’m still watching, especially the upcoming ones like Deadpool. Highs make it worth it, just need more consistency.

Here’s mine: 1. Loki S2 – best payoff. 2. Spider-Verse – incredible. 3. The Marvels – charming and fun. 4. Werewolf by Night – unique. 5. She-Hulk – hit or miss. 6. Quantumania – let down. 7. Secret Invasion – collapsed. They’re doing too much at once, quality drops. But the good ones are really good. I’m still excited for Blade, Fantastic Four, and mutants. Not fatigued, just more selective about what I watch first.
