R.I.P. ECW

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are gathered here to mourn the loss of Extreme Championship Wrestling. This once great fed has been on life support ever since Vince brought it back to life. Now, with the 2007 One Night Stand PPV, featuring little if any ECW wrestlers, it has finally been put down for good.

I was one of the first ones to cheer when it was announced that Vince was bringing ECW back. I was overjoyed. I cried when ECW died in 2001. But I learned the hard way this past year what Stephen King once wrote: Sometimes dead is better.

So in conclusion, I leave the memory of what once was the greatest federation out there with these simple words:

"When I was a child, I caught a fleeting glimpse.
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look, but it was gone.
I cannot put my finger on it now.
The child is grown.
The dream is gone.
And I have become..comfortably numb."

And here I thought Sci-Fi were pulling it's plug.

Chances are ECW will still be alive when Galactica ends. I've learned to appreciate it for what posistives it does have, it's champion may be a big bald 'roid abuser with Micheal Jackson's voice and Goldberg's moves, but..CM Punk and a lot of other new and underutilized talent have got better exposure, and really, is'nt that what ECW is supposed to do?

With the exception of CM Punk and Elijah Burke, ECW makes me fucking sick.

Just think about looking at the One Night Stand tradition, 2005 = awesome, 2006 = awesome, 2007 = John Cena vs. Great Khali in the Main Event.

I love WWE.com, RVD's career is possibly over

Translation: WE ARE **** AND ROB VAN DAM IS GOING TO T N A , mutha fuckazzzzz! :buttrock:

Dream Match: Rob Van Dam vs. AJ Styles.

Question: Will RVD be able to use the name RVD?.
